Finally watched the movie last night. It was decent. Ranbir and Shraddha were good, and supporting cast was good as well.
The thing that annoys me is when the female lead is shown as a manic pixie dream girl. Here, they do that again, he falls in love with her after watching her eating a full meal (he admittedly says so). She is shown to drink beer, there is indication that she works but it is never mentioned what her job is and what her ambition is. She is independent and is looking for casual flings until she finds love. It gives the whole look this is such a "cool girl" and that she is not like other girls.
For reference, watch this cool girl monlogue from Gone Girl. Unfortunately a lot of female characters are written like this.

Director Luv Ranjan’s TJMM collected ₹139 cr though its budget exceeds the total profit made so far, so technically, it can’t be called a commercial hit.
