Okay so I read the post.
So I'll start with my honest opinion.
I always thought that murtasim is someone who is possesive of his relationships as his personality trait so it became very obvious automatically for a person like him to be obsessively possesive about his wife.
But from my views until episode 26 I always felt that his possesiveness is not above happiness of meerub.
I always thought that if meerub will ask to leave her he will leave her as he loves meerub to consider her happiness over his love.
But the way he reacted yesterday in case of Ruhail now I am skeptical regarding my views no doubt.
The way after witnessing them together and thinking that maybe they had something going on,he refused to let her go and to the level where he was even ready to kill ruhail.
Now I am not sure whether he will ever leave her.
Now it seem difficult on his side.
Yes it seem he will either kill other person as Anwar said or will kill himself if meerub left him.
Killing meerub along doesn't seem option to me still.
Now come to this alpha,beta,gamma and omega traits of personality.
These are basically terms used to explain personality traits which are basically seen in werewolves and now mainly men are known by these terms.
Alpha always topped the chart denoting men who are stoic,stern,strict,disciplined,leaders having hint of toxic possesiveness regarding their mate.
How much we like watching such men on tv screens or novels but truth is at the end of day its very difficult to live with them.
This level of possesiveness is very toxic.
Possesiveness in general is good,is very cute emotion as jealousy is good in a relationship but than everything more or less is toxic.
Being possesive but not to the level of controlling and being jealous but not to the level of losing sanity is only tolerable.
Murtasim is possesive and right word is obsessively possesive can also be tolerated but only to the level where he will not restrict meerub's movements as per his wish.
If this possesiveness results into him keeping meerub under his eyes 24*7,not letting her speak with any other person,not meeting with anyone outside his will,it could be very very frustrating for partner.
But sometimes being obsessively possesive,you still manage to control these controlling urges of yours than I can say many couples are like this.
Its just they are assured of their partner's love and being uncomfortable with their gathering but still manage to control their emotions for partner's happiness sake but at the end if their spouse try to leave them than their controlling urge will resurface
And I think for now murtasim fall into 2nd category where he suppresses his controlling urge but it surfaced due to ruhail.
Now coming to the point ki its very toxic.
So I want to say that as justice can't be bookish,even your theortical knowledge of your profession can't be applied practically in field than bookish sense of wrong or right can't also define relationships.
Becoz EMOTIONS DON'T HAVE LOGIC.
So the possesiveness which could be suffocating for many can be endearing for some.
You can't judge other's relationships on that basis.
But the way meerub is shown than this trait of murtasim will be considered toxic.
(I am talking about murtasim only,I don't support what meerub done in ruhail case)😆
