This is again just my observation! I have watched writers interview thrice 🙊
I feel she comes from family (extended) which was regressive and seen similar surroundings but she was lucky to have a father who supported his daughters , going against his own to get them educated and have dreams! But her father had his limitations and is traditionalist. She said she made her dad watch TB ( he doesn’t know she has written) and it was the village panchayat scene the first thing he said was meerab came without her head covered ! It’s not acceptable! He didn’t say anything about meerab voicing her opinion or standing against her own husband !
Her husband seems amazing guy! She has this huge smile when Rabia mentioned him and she said he is her best friend!
I mean any husband who would support his wife writing cheesy romance and top of it gives suggestions , proof reads her and even watches with it definitely has my respect!
So my point is when she was writing she didn’t want to write journey of meerab - girl whose independence and identity was taken away and how she triumphs in life as there have been such stories and its treatment has to be different!
And given her own experiences and what she has seen around and picked up she wanted to highlight How every husband/ man who gets married under similar conditions should be and she created Murtasim -- he respects her consent.
- he loves and adores her.
- he stands by her and supports her
in her own way without actually being preachy and adding romantic touch she wanted to put across her point, that ur unconditional support and love will make difference and can bring a smile on your partners face and you will earn both her love and respect!
Yes, somewhere she forgot meerab but since we still have few more episodes, am assuming maybe that will also addressed and we will see her POV and progress too!
And that sums it up.. this is basically what she wanted to show.. a hero in all the sense.. we can clearly see the writer is in love with murtasim.. she justifies all of his acts…thats why even yumna said murtasim is the only character without any grey shade.. and it works..
What topic r u guys discussing? Is murtu v or not? I m 100% sure he is v that's why he is soo desperate. If he wasn’t v he wouldn’t be so desperate.
