Actually Meerab is the most powerful person in that haveli right now, only if she realizes it accepts it and uses it. Murthasim tried to hint that many a times in initial episodes after the marraige. If she takes complete charge she can decide to get haya married like in a day even Maa begum will not be able to do anything. She is the only one who feels and sees Murtasim khan as her equal. Mr. Khan enjoys meerab treating him as equal..... something which he might be missing in this feudal system. I can't wait for the day when meerub accepts murthu wholeheartedly!!!!

I don’t know if the writer intended this at all but the way the director directed the pre-marriage scenes and dialogues, Murtasim already had a soft corner for and physical attraction to her

I really hope we have an episode where Meerab asks Murtasim when did you fall for me and he says “I don’t know- maybe I always had a thing for you or maybe it was when you beat up our neighbor Afzal one Eid because he stole Maryam’s Eidi. I always waited for special occasions and summers because I knew Waqas chacha would bring you to Hyderabad”

We wont get this will we? But it would have been such a good scene.
