I never watched S2 but how did Kartik find out he had a son? Or did Naira never get married after the separation so it wasn’t assumed that she had the baby from her second husband?

Exactly. If her son has a heart problem, why wouldn't she go to abhimanyu, who is apparently a top heart surgeon. After all, she wouldn't compromise on her son's health, even if it means consulting her ex-husband for a medical emergency like this. She needs a doctor who can save her son who has a major heart problem, and she already knows one, so why would she give ego or her past more priority over her son's health by wasting time looking for another heart-specialist when she already knows one.

Nair never married , she raised kairav as single mother in goa...kairav was longing to see his father so one day he randomly calls a stranger and it turns out to be kartik..kartik , after listening to the child's voice feels some connection and comes to goa ..after that they didn't show naira kartik face off till kartik gets married to vedika..the day he marries , he discovers naira is alive..they have a custody battle also but kartik gives up ..by then vedika turned negative n naira and kartik together kick her out of their life n remarry ..the track went on for 4-5 months I think

Sirat was just irritating with her grating dialogue delivery and flipping character. When she got engaged to Karthik, she was so much in love with Ranveer. When she married Ranveer, she couldn't stop thinking about Karthik right from the wedding night. When Ranveer was ready to walk away she stuck on to him to prove her patni dharm. She was one annoying character. Comparing Akshu in any ways to her is an insult to poor Akshu.
