Yess! I already posted about this on the episode discussion thread. Maa begum is not wrong to suggest the idea of a divorce. If there is truly no relationship between them, then it would free the both of them from this forced rishta.

Also maa begum doesn't say you should divorce that girl. She says if you want, you can. I will not stop you. Because earlier, he said yes to the marriage on her insistence. So, in a way, she is to be blamed if her son is not happy in his marriage. And as you rightly pointed out, really glad she does not advise applying force her to get your haq. Thank god for small mercies!

On a separate note, I would have liked to see if Waqas or Anila or Anwar suggested the idea of divorce to Meerab. 1- that would mean they care about their daughter more than their so-called izzat. 2- hopefully we would get to know how meerab sees this marriage as she gave an answer to them.

Because frankly, we know Murtasim will never agree to it. Even if his father comes back from the dead, he will not divorce her. But what about Meerab? How does she view this marriage? What does she think about their future? Viewers really need to hear some of Meerab's thoughts.
