If it was modern family, I wouldn't have made a big issue of murtasim haya interactions.

But this is conservative family where woman aren't allowed to go outside alone.

In such family we have murtasim being ok with haya doing wife duties to him. No izzat tension for haya actions.

I agree to your point... but in this show, they will take that route to justify Murtasim's actions saying Haya is his cousin.

Take MB for an instance, even aft knowing that Haya loves Murtasim n meerub's insecurities, MB still listens to Haya...

Waqas, anila n anwar dont like rohail... even murtu had a fight with him.. so for meerub, they are all going to gang up against her in rohail matter except murtu.. it will be her fault at the end..

After watching the promo i guess may be MB may also play a role in Meerasim separation. If she feels Meerab is not reciprocating her sons feelings, may be she asks Meerab to back off, may be goes against Meerab also.

Haya is any way there to manipulate her.

In the accident track also, she asked Meerab to leave but never told the same to Murtu.

Murtu does not matter much for Meerab as of now, so she may also leave.

They aren't focused on creating a non toxic character. They are only focused on creating an ML that is just non-toxic upar upar se and make girls go crazy. If they wanted to show non toxic ML they would have never shown the bday scene or the slap scene and then try to justify those scenes or make murtu dumb so that behaya can have as much screentime as they want.

The infamous slap scene was mainly for trp.. the bday scene was to show d heroism...

I cant make anything out of these 2 scenes... but the rest of the scenes where consent is being discussed, husband trying to save the relationship, defending his wife etc, those r some non toxic qualities shown for a ML in recent tv shows...

But to glorify the MB, the rest of the characters are flipping sides in every episode like MB, meerub.. so that's where the writer didny do justice..
