Finally just to chill could you share yyour favorite ML/FL characters from other ITV soaps and why you like them. I'm not much into ITV hence never had the choice of knowing about a lot of them. Also any old ITV serials minus cringe scenes, which are worth binge watch need suggestions please.

I liked Chicken Bhanot's game as well his ability to act in BB house so going to watch Bekaboo.

Maharana Pratap on Sony was a huge hit..pls do give it a try instead of family dramas.

Shivangi Joshi's first daily soap Begasurai (the show is named after a place in Bihar).

Anil Kapoor once did a weekly it was huge hit 24 something, my mom went gaga over it.

On hotstar, Amazon prime, Netflix there are plenty of web shows which is infinity times better than Yrkkh.

My all time fav is IPKKND. It took time for me to accept that Gul has done a better job than Ekta.

My fav ML is Aditya Hooda from Bepannaah ( he is not husband material)

Fav FL hands down to Maya Mehrotra from Beyhadh.

Hey thanks for the list I dont have any subscriptions or entertainment packages because we are a very media light family. We don't even have a cable subscription, I do watch few serials in dailymotion or other cloud uploads. I like IPKKND and have watched maybe like a million times including the angst arshi phase episodes. Gul to me is way better than eku maiyya in terms of class and production values not sure about their payments, because I heard balaji pay very less. Also never liked balaji beyond kyunki saas bhi and kasam se.

When Dev accidentally slaps her father, she refuses to listen to him and immediately go to her dad to support him. Lot of ITV women are treated like Shaadi kar Liya tho Sasural hi Sab Kuch hai. Even after her divorce, she lives with respect at her parents place and even how they supported her all that was very beautifully shown.

You can binge watch Dahleez, shaurya aur anokhi ki Kahani or web series Arya.. Both are just 100 episodes I think and good timepass. Just fast forward any boring scenes.

I think being self-reliant or having empowered attitude has got nothing to do with education or economic strength. I remember a servant maid in our house she is an inspiration to me, her house was prim and proper, she was well planned with their financial budget though her husband has alchohol issues. She used to proudly tell us how theres limits and boundaries for everything in their house, her son did engineering and her daughter did fashion designing all through their meagre earnings. I took inspiration from her and manage my house similarly even when I wasnt working I am no less than my DH. My lesson to all girls the minute you are married your husband's family, his money, assets, izzath, everything is your's. So take charge and learn to manage your household/gruhasthi don't take anything lying down. Instead learn to should responsibilities. Just because you are not financially contributing shouldn't undermine your role in the family and besharam hoke sab cheejon ko kabza keejiye everything is yours🤣
