When a ML says "May I" to the FL it has great significance in Pak drama. It was done in Humsafar show 12 years back and that scene is one the most favourite and famous scene in Pak romance world. Fawad and Mahira are still known for the "May I" scene.

The same scene was in Mere Humsafar and on twitter there was a huge uproar about it ......even during IVs the director of Mere Humsafar was called this particular question.

But Mere Humsafar and Humsafar scene were almost same with dialogues.

I guess the director's didn't want a comparison with the old show.
