A tough day in the office for Mumbai Indians with the bat. The troubles started in the 3rd over, when Marizanne Kapp dismissed Bhatia and Sciver-Brunt off successive deliveries. The dangerous Hayley Matthews also departed next over, thanks to a stunning low catch by Jemimah Rodrigues. Amelia Kerr also didnโ€™t last long, as she edged on to the keeper. MI built a bit of a partnership between Pooja Vastrakar and skipper Harmanpreet, but they both holed out in the deep after getting solid starts. Issy Wong and Amanjot Kaur then got some steady contributions, as Radha Yadav and Jonassen doled out a few bad deliveries. Ultimately, Mumbai Indians end with 109 runs, for the loss of 8 wickets. A paltry score but the ball is swinging a bit, so MI will believe they have a chance if they get early wickets. Let's see how the second innings pans out...

Nat Sciver-Brunt to Lanning, FOUR, good length outside off, cut behind square on the off side and hit with enough power to beat the third-man fielder to the fence

0.3

Nat Sciver-Brunt to Lanning, FOUR, full and slightly wider, Meg Lanning with the perfect off drive that finds a way through a crowded off side field for a boundary!

Wong to Shafali Verma, FOUR, brilliant!! This was another yorker that found its mark. But Shafali Verma moves away and chips her drive over mid-off this time. So clever to find the other side with mid-on just moving back
