I am not part of the trp audience so no idea but don't you think he may have got sympathy if he had divorced Patralekha? Right now he comes across as a man who doesn't want to divorce his second wife yet wants his first wife to be with him always. Matlab dhobi ka kutta or thaali ka baingan type. ๐คก๐ Though I must say there's no khot in his niyath so far. He doesn't want to indulge in any affair with Sai. He just wants her to be with him as his bachho ki aai but that again is kinda problematic.
Viratโs love for farz has been established very strongly..So Virat not leaving patralekha will be seen as Farz and watching the love of his life Sai getting along with other man even as a friend is his pain or punishment.
People will see it in this manner..this is how they have taken the narrative so far and people have accepted it..Virat is a pitiable man stuck between duty and love.
