There is something there but the writers in first few episodes tried to show us something entirely different. They should have shown the bond from first episode, would have helped to understand both Haya and Murtasim's behaviour a little bit right now.

I think they were more focused on building his stature up as a grumpy gloomy lonely young man, in contrast to meerab who was all smiles, had friends, who is fiesty.
