sounds like an excuse for cheating. if he can't get it here he will go somewhere else.

The reason for all the discrepancy of the plot and character arc is the writer not doing a thorough job of sticking to following a logical and sequential evolution of each character.

Murtasim needs to bring his A game to the land issues. He really was being OTT. He was too kind to haya. It totally feels like there are two different writers. Or a person who is forced to do a story writing for a grade school assignment.

Meerab seems constant but not well developed. Yumna and wahaj did fantastic with this crap of a script. They deserve a strong content script next. But I feel 7th sky will force them to do something even worse than this as this is their golden geese of the moment.

So the first time she is in a grey are, it is not just that the character falters perhaps Yumna falters too. Maybe we are being too harsh. The scene with Rohail I was not buying it, give me a real reason why she should tell him about the contract. Because your MIL thinks you are pregnant and you lost your mind, seriously, I thought she was tougher than that. Yumna didn't sell me on Meerab dilemma what the hell was she thinking.

I have defended meerab a lot before last episode beacuse she was right in all the other matters where she was baselessly blamed by everyone. But this rohail thing and her sudden bff mode with rohail is hard to digest. If they wanted to show meerab had the kind of relationship where she pours her heart out to rohail then they should have established that in the initial episodes itself. Rohail barely had 4-5 scenes in which he was with with meerab for 2 scenes till now and that too when the other friend was with them. Meerab is never shown to miss her college life of friends for 23 episodes and now we are shown she is close enough to rohail that she tells the reality of her marriage to him right after he tells he likes her

The same with murtu and haya. If the makers want us to buy murtu's softness to haya they should have established that in the initial episodes instead of selling a false personality of a macho murtu who won't even drink a glass of water from behaya's hands and kicks her out of his room every now and then. Now he is ready to take her to their village home and stay with her for 2-3 days without any hesitation

there is no base to any of the characters for this drama. It's okay to make a commercial drama with all the tashan and intense passionate chemistry but they should put some effort on the character sketch of each characters. Everyone behaves the exact opposite of how the behaved in the previous episode. Shouldn't atleast the actors raise these questions?

Maa begum on ep23 says behaya to stay in her limits and the next episode asks her to accompany murtu to a village where they will be staying alone🤢

Meerab is last episode was showing off her haq on murtu and blushing when he buys her gajra is now sitting in a cafe with a guy who admitted she likes her and opening up about her marriage secrets to him.

Murtu who claims to love his wife does the only one thing his wife said him not to do. Being around behaya 👎🏼. He don't try to draw a line just for namesake.

Will maa begum or murtu let mariyam go like this with any of her male cousins? Will they be fine with meerab meeting her male friend in broad daylight at a cafe with people around? In all this khandan ki izzat will come but not with behaya and her cheap advances.

The entire drama is running on just to create tashan and tension between the leads and for that they will come up with any random storyline and the characters will act according to that and won't make any sense.

This drama needed at least 50 episodes! They should have taken time in establishing all characters and their equations with each other in initial phase instead of rushing towards marriage!

It could have started with them disliking each other , then her birth thruth, marriage and then slowly building their story throwing in tashan ,cute moments , angst and then Love then move to conflict of ideology thing and finally accepting each other !

If they spent time in establishing character, it would have given us more clear perspective and helped in understandings why is this char behaving or doing things like this !

They had decent story and couldn’t hold it up for 25 episodes? I feel ITV is much better this way, most drama make sense and are logical for first 7-8 months and it’s after that they start going down !

I hoped they would wrap up by forty max. But it will be more. The increase in episode dilutes the quality.

They did establish characters. The problem is now they are all going out of character or logic and it's making the progress and the last 22 episodes make no sense.

It's pretty obvious that the only thing the makers spend any time on is to have intense passionate scenes and tashan scenes between meerab and murtasim. Everything else is just there. Even pak daily soaps put more effort in establishing the characters than this drama with A list actors and high production quality.

Excellent point. Meerab and Murtasim love story is not suited for a short story format, they are not simple minded as MH couple, these characters were shown to be too complicated initially now they are dumbing them down to blind bats. Their characters and stories need time to breathe. We are jumping from scene to scene. Murtasim says his wife was sick at night, if this was ITV we would have seen him take care of her. These are not just fillers, these moments matter to build a sense of belonging between a couple, and also for the audiences to get a full picture of their journey together.

I am going to hell I am defending ITV, but they do build romances a little better by focusing on the details. Ofcourse once they build they will destroy.

I think he wasn’t in great mood at the beginning of the story. Something must have happen and she confessed her love to him therefore he started to be rude so he stay way. After marriage he probably was like I am taken, she must have given up now.

But yea there is little problem, director/writer didn’t show it very well.

These are all just our own assumptions. The makers then have to clearly show what exactly happened for murtu to even refuse to drink water from behaya's hands. And what exactly made him being fine with her right after being married. Isn't his own wife being uncomfortable with behaya's advances more than enough for him to draw the line?

If whatever happened before ep1 made him pissed off at behaya to the level of not accepting water from her hands then shouldn't he be having more harsh reaction towards behaya after whatever she has done to create misunderstandings between him and his wife whom he claims to love passionately? The girl right in front of him wore the gajra and flaunted it in front of his wife and created misunderstanding and his mouth was shut🤢

This is the same guy who stood up and said very harsh words to his own mother twice for meerab. How is his sympathy or whatever he has for behaya higher than his relationship with his own mother?

ITV sure has its specialities ngl😆

I like the use of bgms like in ipk(rabba ve is iconic for a reason) and they always have a happy and sad version of the ost

There are much more romantic scenes like hugs and kisses which makes the couple more believable and we even get to see the consummation
