Ok… haven’t watched today’s episode yet. My question is, why was Murtasim not wanting to be seen at the market? Is it frowned upon in the feudal system to walk around with your biwi? Or is it just a guy “manhood” thing, as if he’s whipped by going tot he market with her?

I too could find no logic on why he doesn't want to hang out with his wife. The only reason I could up with was that he had the room decorated so he wanted to get back ASAP to show off.

What I found utterly stupid was why so much build up when this was always in script!

Why show Murtasim being so rude and dismissive of haya in first few episodes and then boom u turn instead they could have said he always had this cordial thing with her and she had this one side love while he friend -zoned her and had no feelings of love it was just platonic.So him going to haya for help and pouring his heart would made sense and haya going red and seeing as meerab coming between her and Murtasim would have made more acceptable.

Next meerab they could have shown she was always good friends and was aware of Rohails feelings but quite never pondered, and it would have been more justified if she meets him after she sees Murtasim - haya in village and then vents out all her frustration!

This way it wouldn’t have been so bad, they way it feels now! They have thrown Murtasim from high tower after slowly building up his character for 20 good episodes and all that in just 5min!

I am still not so put off by meerabs doing infact I want her to drive Murtasim mad till he gets the hit!
meerab has very vocal about her dislike for haya around him and both MB ans Mk didn’t do anything so now wouldn’t mind her taking things in her own hands and getting nasty with haya, she should now declare war in open! It’s diff thing does she want to take back MK or not but haya has no business insulting her like this!

I am biased towards Meerab. Meerab deserves so much better. She clearly told that she was getting humiliated because of Haya. I don't understand why it is so difficult for Murtasim to understand this. And also I don't like female leads getting jealous. And I don't like the way Meerab's jealousy is portrayed in a cute and fun way. It is not at all funny.

So guys here are some of my preliminary thoughts. I have read all your comments everyone has said it all from A to Z.

I won't mention the disgusting scene in the promo and the ring. Because that hasn't happened yet let's judge the now.

I think it is not Meerab's character sketch that has gone wrong, it is actually Murtasim's character that is going off the rails. So I question is this really a pro Murtasim script, I shouted this before he is the crown jewel, you can't mess with him it will derail the whole show. Do I think Meerab revealing about the contract was wrong to Rohail, Yes, but do I think she is capable of making such a mistake. YES.

The character Murtasim they have built so far for 20 plus episodes when was he ever Naive. So what part of Murtasim taking Haya with him doesn't scream NAIVE. Twice now in this show that when Murtasim needed to talk to his wife he can't use the bloody phone, after the accident and now. He has a phone she has a phone but miraculously they can't connect.

Murtasim in the panchayat scene was weak too. Flashback to the first panchayat scene, how powerful he looked. In this scene he looked like an older brother trying to reprimand his wayward younger brother. The first intro Murtasim scene we got is not the character we got today. So they made Murtasim look like a fool in personal life and weak in his professional life.

In any story plot has to move from Point A to Point B. In a well written script this journey will be logical, today it was not. That is the whole point of this pregnancy comedy, they need to set it up to embarrass the couple publicly. Now is it believable for the Meerab we know to not just reveal outright that she is not pregnant, why was she waiting for Murtasim, what will he say that she can't herself say and when did she ever need him to speak for herself. What was she panicked about? The contract doesn't have anything to do with pregnancy, you can be sexually active and not get pregnant. Why does ITV and PTV make a mockery of pregnancy.

Bingo Meerab has stayed reasonably consistent. It is Murtasim character that swings dramatically. He has to do much in the show that they forget what is his core personality which is taking charge, being resolute, being decisive.

We can see the difference in the way he defends Haya in front of Meerab and the way he defends Meerab in front of Haya.

In Episode 14, when Haya called Meerab napayadar insaan(untrustworthy) he didn't defend Meerab. I did not know the meaning of the word and from the subtitles I got to know the meaning. And the way he defended Haya in front of Meerab was strong.

If I was wearing two chappals, I’d throw them both at Meerub and Murtasim today. The sheer STUPIDITY and disrespect they showed to each-other though their actions today, this is what they deserve. 🩴 🩴

I felt physically repulsed by both of them, and couldn’t even appreciate Wahaj looking 👍🏽 in his shawl today. (Was not feeling Yumna’s look today.. I think it’s the extra large irised contacts they use in some scenes ?) I am too emotionally attached to these characters, but now I am a kinda turned off.

Btw, was Yumna’s acting off today? It seemed she had an actual cold for some of the scenes and seemed kinda blah ( aside from her “sickness” in the show.) Sometimes I feel like she is overly expressionless and today was one of those episodes.

Murtasim: I hope Meerab leaves you issi vaqt kyun ki tum issi laik ho. Going with Haya to the Gao is beyond stupid … it’s just plain messed up now after all of your wife’s warnings and the pain Haya has caused her. So screw you buddy. Enjoy your time with Haya.

Meerab: I’m ok with you meeting with Rohail as a friend. But the moment he expressed his love interest…you needed to leave just out of respect to the sanctity of marriage. At least from a religious perspective, you agreed to this marriage under the eyes of god ( your character is religious ) so at least have some respect from that angle. And your husband ( aside from Haya ki Harkhat today and yesterday) ha tried to make an effort and is not generally a dick. Have some dang respect.

And if that wasn’t enough, you told him about the contract? Murtasim should leave you for this specifically. In the snap of a finger. He has been so patient with you - and this is a huuuuuge betrayal. So messed up.

I concur so far Meerab character has stood for what is right, you can argue her methodology but you can't deny she is right. So the first time she is in a grey are, it is not just that the character falters perhaps Yumna falters too. Maybe we are being too harsh. The scene with Rohail I was not buying it, give me a real reason why she should tell him about the contract. Because your MIL thinks you are pregnant and you lost your mind, seriously, I thought she was tougher than that. Yumna didn't sell me on Meerab dilemma what the hell was she thinking.

murtasam & haya: you can see they were friend. He is responsible for her. He cares for her and he will always care for her regardless Bcs it’s his responsibility. He constantly refute her love. So haya decide to approach now in a sneaky way. Like ok I have accepted that you are married but let’s be friend at least. So basically that’s what happening.

remember murtasam is like under stress:

1. 3 men killed

2. Wife misunderstands so he is worried

3. His wife doesn’t love him

4. Now probably more shocked his wife is pregnant

he has caring nature , I agree there should be more scene explaining this parts!! Poor directing and editing. As all this drama is planned: make it 40-50 episodes like the Chinese one. They explain each character very well. So this confusion and imagination don’t run wild.

I hope the director picks up on this. The emotion and explanation of each character is very imp

@bold. Murtu's sudden softness for behaya would have made sense if there was no scene of him being super rude towards her in the initial episodes. The dude don't even drink water from her hands in the first episode. That shows he detests her. What was the need of all those scenes if he was so soft for her and they used to be friends? Then suddenly after marriage he is ready to eat food from her hands in his bedroom . What was the purpose of all those scenes? If haya was behaya for taking advances towards a single guy what is she according to him now? He had problem with her flirting with him before marriage when they both were single but is totally fine with her barging to his room whenever she wants and don't mind her advances even when his wife whom he claims to love is very vocal about her dislike for behaya. Suddenly he is empathetic towards her.
