So I don't know if I am the only one who sees this but I know Abhi hurt Akshara, he was unfair to her...and she went through a lot..

The way I see now is that the writers have been showing us that Akshara is happy and has a peaceful life while Abhi is suffering alot since he met her and her family and I think that for them is his redemption track...or a way to show that its tit for tat... because Akshara has no idea about the state of his mind....

From that mental breakdown ep...he has not fully recovered... and I really think that they are trying to show mental health issues... reason doesn't matter...but Abhi has completely lost it, I realized after today's episode. HE IS HALLUCINATING. Wo usske dimagh pe sawar hai...he is not himself. He was blubbering... with mental health issues, something that can be otherwise a tiny/small thing seem paramount and He is not able to do anything else because that thing has completely taken over his brain. You cannot control that.

Akshara suffered because of him and now it is his turn.... that is what is being shown....in a way that seems obsession and Abhinav said that today...about being free in love and not bounding anyone but Abhi is not able to think or reason with anything.

He has completely lost it and I see it as Usske paapon ki saza.

He has done so much wrong that all this suffering came his way... but maybe I am the only one who can perceive this.

I love this new perspective and I wish I considered it more! I previously said that his behaviour reminded me of Maya from Beyhadh (the junoon, desperation, and the way Harshad emoted it) but I failed to understand that its also a sign of Abhimanyu having a mental health crisis. Seeing Akshara care for him has triggered him in a whole different way than her rejection of his apology. It doesn’t justify his behaviour or make me roll my eyes less but it does explain his feverish stagger and the crazed look in his eyes. We’ve known he’s been suffering since Akshu left him in the first leap but now we see him hitting rock bottom, flailing in his attempts not to drown

As I mentioned in one of my other posts, yes even I agree that he is losing his mind. The way he talked to Shefali was a dead giveaway. And the way he was getting dressed, covering up his injuries... he was trying to make himself presentable to her - as if it was a casual lover's tiff that he needs to apologize and bring her back - another clear sign that he is not in his right frame of mind.

And if by chance this is the route the makers are planning to take, I am all for it. But I fear it too because makers have touched upon the topic of mental health and they are not exactly known for consistency and proper handling of tracks. Every track they have taken up thus far had immense potential but been messed up so badly that I now end up laughing when a new one begins.

Very well put, Heer.

Suppose, I killed a person. And as a consequence of my action I was punished with lifetime imprisonment. Now that made me feel terrible and I lost my mental imbalance. Not because I killed a person but because of the punishment I had to face for my own mistake. In all of this, how did I do right by the person that I killed?

He seems to have some health conditions as when leap 1 happend he used to take lot of anxiety pills in order to forget akshara.

Then in leap 2 also that conversation with rohan where he asks him to sedate him with something also gives a hint abhi is broken completely.

But unless and untill they really show that he has some medical condition i will not justify his deeds. He was wrong when he humiliated akshu and he will be wrong going behind married woman. They should atleast show some medical condition or some fbs to justify whats wrong with abhi. What made him to think akshu will leave abhinav and come back to him. Why he is unable to recall what he did 6 years back.

May be akshu's no will make him understand what he did 6 years back. May be her rejection will make him realize how wrong he was when he did that.

Eithers its a writers mistake or we are trying to read between lines. Lets see how they justify his actions.

It has been shown as a mental issue from the beginning of this leap. The number of pills he has consumed should be a dead giveaway, but they are not outright discussing it. He is unstable; he has lost his mind. He believes the past six years were a lie, like a myth that surrounded him and is suffocating him. Now he only wants Akshu back and thinks it will magically solve everything. I have no idea what they will do once she rejects him again.

I really do want to see that track of him going completely off the rails. We got some of that after Neil's death when he just went drinking. But then his responsibilities forced him to return to normal and take care of people again. Let's see how they handle this cause he can just as easily flip and keep doing all his duties by marrying arohi.

Now suppose you loved the person you killed... and then you go mad because you lost that person and your brain doesn't have the capacity to reason anymore because of that loss/pain/trauma... that you have to face everyday of your life... because that is the new reality...life without that person; because you simply cannot accept or move on without the presence of that person (who you killed) the pain of not having them effects your brain gravely so that it cannot think about anything else...your brain/mind will not allow you to think or reason that it is all because you killed that person.... and you are only to blame.

The mind is and can be that powerful and that is what is happening with Abhimanyu.

People like AbhiM exists in real life.. who cannot come out of past but rely on alcohol or drugs.. I’m general men are physically strong where as women are more strong mentally. We hear many news that most no.of suicide cases are done by men who cannot know how to handle their state. AbhiM is one of them.

Makers showing him like this is for such a long time is not at all entertaining to watch his character on screen. We need him to be strong and handle things in a sensible and matured way. Instead of makers showing him in such pathetic condition, I appreciate and applause them if they change the track by showing his redemption, recovering from mental issues and give his life a second chance. For that Ak is not the only way, it can happen through his realisation and will power and thought process to understand about life giving other options. In reality people who realise the mistakes are able to mend the ways by their own na or with support from rehabilitation centres and also family.

A) i would never kill a person I love

B) again, whatever you've described is self pity. It's all about me, me, me. I have to suffer, I have to feel lonely, I can't live without them, I am going crazy. In all of this, where is the person who was wronged by you?

True..

That's the difference..one can hurt in love but not kill.... ..if they hurt at least they go through "some" realisation , n not straightaway "claim" them back.
