Murtasim was so angry when he came in front of Meerub, he tried to stop her but Meerub pushed him, he told her to not go anywhere but she said Mai Jaaungi or Tumhare mein par thappad Maar kar jaaungi, then she pushed him for 4 times, calls him Baghairat and told him men like him are those prefers to hide behind a woman and then Murtu slapped her.

This was the background and don’t come after me as I am not going to justify the situation but just for a second place Murtasim in Meerub’s place, if it was him who have called her a characterless and be physical with her by pushing her with so much force, what would have been her reaction??

Why are we so hypocritical in the name of feminism?? Just reversed the situation and you all would find what’s wrong in Meerub’s action? One would call out a man if he pushes a women so hard that there are chances she would fall on the floor, and then he is calling her characterless then everyone is going to cry it is abuse, and if in this case that woman would slap her abuser we are going to be so so happy??

Other than this scenes, the episode is filled with guilt and pain only, Anwar is guilty for giving Meerub up, Murtasim is guilty for slapping her, Meerub and WA are feeling pain on their loss.

She hit him emotionally that too when he s not at fault and he hit her physically as a reaction.....so here the thappad is not about male female power play or suppression ,it was a human reaction out of instant rage by a person who is blamed, shamed and instigated without any reason ....but yes it was really hard ... that is my opinion
