Welcome to the 9th clash of Women's Premier League as Gujarat Giants face Delhi Capitals Women at the DY Patil stadium in Navi Mumbai tonight. Delhi Capitals won their first two games of the tournament, but Mumbai Indians thumped them by 8 wickets with 5 overs to spare in the previous contest. On the other hand, Gujarat Lions who lost their first two games of the season, finally managed to open their account with a win against RCB Women as Dunkley and Harleen Deol chipped in with significant contributions. Shikha Pandey: I think she (Lanning) has been very deceptive, I think she's a bowler's captain. I have been picking up her brain in terms of experience, she has shown a lot of faith in all the bowlers, happy to be playing under her. I am happy to bowl with the new ball, as a new ball bowler you can get swing, but I haven't been able to pick a lot of wickets. That's something on my to-do list, hopefully I start doing it soon. I know everyone in the Indian side, here the environment is different and relaxed. I want to learn as much as I can from others (overseas players), that's my priority. Trying to soak in the knowledge. I am blessed to be playing WPL, that's one thing WPL brings along. It was a minor glitch, hiccup in the last game. I haven't heard much of a banter between the English players and the Australian players, it's been good otherwise.
