Murtasim Khan is actually the better man. I can say that having seen both shows.

Woh toh show ki chemistry itni lajawaab thi. Rabba ve music aata tha and people would be fida on the jodi. But as a man, you do not want arnav. At least, the first 2-3 months of the show. Then he falls in love and becomes soft.
