NAV was always a saathi the driver to guide them, to reach Abhira on their destination. So no bad vibes till now.

Right now he is supporting Akshara so for me he is good..and generally speaking he is catalyst for abhira ..positive or negative doesn't matter unlike Aro..He is needed for Abhi to react .

As always the makers have dropped some leads to make him “not so Accha aadmi” with some unanswered questions:

He lived in Pathankot - what was he doing in Udhaipur and on the bus the day he met Akshara?

Why did he have a ready nickname “ Nikki ji “ for Abhir - is there a backstory?

When he prayed to God when Abhir was born he asked God for forgiveness for all his bad deeds- wha bad deeds did he do?

I think they have set it up such that he can be made a not a very Accha aadmi if needed.

But at the moment he seems like he is a good man - Akshara respects and listens to his advice - he can influence her decisions.

True Ash, they have kind of kept him on the fence so they can easily turn him grey if need be.

My views below, really extreme just presenting a very negative view because I am just annoyed with him goosoing in every scene. Havent always held this opinion. Somehow this week I am over him. Just feel he makes Akshu lose her individuality.

For me he is the number 1 boora aadmi

• has occupied more than 50% screen space since introduction
• does not allow Abhir to be with Akshu even for a minute. I feel he is so insecure of losing Abhir that he has ensured Abhir is more attached to him.
• possessive of Abhir and now showing early signs of being possessive about Akshu
• opens his mouth uninvited
• harboured feelings even after knowing his boundaries
• shares intimate relationship details with his neighbours
• pretends to care for Abhi, gives relationship gyaan but has no issues hiding the biggest relationship with birlas. Yes it is not his role to tell the truth but he should at least be guilty when he talks about it
• pretends to sacrifice everything for Abhir by wearing torn socks to gain sympathy
• just because Akshu asked to drop "ji" next minute he walks around with banyan🤮
• stands up for Akshu unwanted. Makes her look weak.
• Rather than worrying about how Akshu's feeling, he was worried about what will happen to him

Suspicion (as you have pointed out)

• why was he in Udaipur the first time and why did he pretend as though he had never been to udaipur before

• Ends up everytime Akshu lands in trouble (how)
• claims to be her husband at the police station, could have easily claimed her as his sister
• keeps an empty frame in the hope of having a family, Did he have one that he lost?
• calls Abhir Nikki ji
• Like you pointed out what mistakes was he asking for forgiveness
• Doesnt raise any question about Akshu's past but happy to be married to her and be a father to someone else's child
• supports Akshu with everything without questioning. But knows nothing about her - ok I get that he trusts her but seems odd
• gives creepy look at times
• pretends to be dumb even though he understands it perfectly

I do acknowledge his help

• in paying for Akshu's bus ticket
• help her get to the hospital
• Has given moral support over the last 6 years
• Gave Akshu a shelter when she had no one

yes he may have a good heart but to me he has gained much more with Akshu and Abhir than what he has given.

Actually very valid point about the importance of his existence to get Abhi's reaction. But then again, had he not been there, it would have been a slightly easier road and we wouldnt had to worry about this horrible wedding

Trp is 2.5 and is due to that birthday episode i guess abhira centric and abhi abhir dance and then the samman promo. But makers will think its because of abhirohi wedding 🤦
