In the teaser promo and ost salman falls from the stairs multiple times.

Is marriage really the end all for a girl? The mother seems to think girls like Aliya and Taniya who speak their mind will still manage but girls like Samiya who are simple minded…or have lower aspirations …won’t..

I wanted to know what others here think of this..l.would love to know more perspectives

Not interpreting mothers thoughts or the situation in the show, but understanding this perspective of a simple girl needing marriage - the reality of that, or whether we have to move above it.

Phupho ki baatein sunnke samajh mei aati hai ki unki generation ke liye bhagne ke Suva aur koyi chaara nahi thaa… these are the woman who paved the way for the new generation of girls to be able to speak their mind, take a stand and fight the fight. They didn’t run away…they ran for us.

The way she said how we internalize everything people around us tell us about us, without even questioning it… the mother and Samiya have done just that,,,

mai tou badi hoke phupho banungi….jisse Kuch ya kissi ki ho na ho, khaane ki importance hai…

what a brilliantly written show, it makes me realize how agency is necessary and how we should never take our agency for granted,
