I think they made it very clear why Anwer isn't taking a stand for himself and his daughter. He says that Maa Begum should know how to respect them and especially, Meerab. And he even believes that Meerab was at fault for the panchayat debacle, so he is probably embarrassed as well. He keeps saying that everything depends on Murtasim now.

Logical baat toh nahi hai, but they have already implied that Meerab does not use her phone ever since she got married. That house is practically a cage for her, in every way.

Haya is using her last few brain cells to keep M & M apart, but destiny can not be defied. The two dumbos are made for each other and we are even dumber for losing our sanity over them😆

Also, I have to give it to the makers, the episodes pass by so quickly, hardly boring.
