Matthew Kuhnemann to Mohammed Shami, OUT! Fires in the yorker and Shami's eyes lit up as he saw one pitched up. Cleared his front leg to throw the kitchen sink at it but didn't connect, hearing the death rattle behind him. The stumps are a mess as Kuhnemann bags his second. Australia have a lead of 1 run.

Day 2: Innings Break - India trail by 1 run👏

What a Test match this is turning out to be!! Australia take a slender one run lead into the second innings, but it looked like it would be much more at one point.

KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma played out the overs last night, and started nicely today as well before Lyon got one to spin into Rahul's pads, trapping him LBW.

That started a procession of sorts, as Nathan Lyon was really finding his mojo, picking up Rohit soon after, and then getting Pujara out for a duck. Shreyas Iyer poked one to short leg, where Handscomb took a stunning reflex catch. India however found some fightback with the home boy Virat Kohli and Ravi Jadeja. Kohli in particular was look solid, he had a plan to play spin off the backfoot and it looked to be working before a slightly controversial LBW decision sent him back, giving Kuhnemann his first wicket. Bharat was also out cheaply, giving Lyon his fifer but India found a strong fightback with Ashwin and Axar.

Day 2 - Innings break - Aus lead by 1 run

A superb fightback from Ashwin and Axar but the second new ball worked wonders for the visitors as they wrapped things up quickly after the drinks break. Australia's bowling were top-notch in the first two sessions, especially Nathan Lyon, who used the conditions effectively and plagued the Indian batters, eventually registering a five-wicket haul.

India had real problems when the well-set Kohli got out to a controversial decision by the third umpire but Axar and Ashwin bailed the team and struck an all-important 114-run partnership. Who knows, this could be a match-defining partnership if India emerge victorious in the match. Cummins ran out of ideas to break this partnership as it was smooth sailing for Ashwin and Axar in this difficult Kotla track. The second new ball was taken after the drinks break and Cummins struck instantly, taking down Ashwin before taking a blinder at mid-on to end Axar's magnificent knock.

Right then! This Test match has been entertaining so far and we are in for more twists and turns from here on. India would be mighty pleased to get close to Australia's total after looking down in the dumps at 133-7. How will the Australian batters go about their business in the second innings? Don't go anywhere, we will find out shortly.
