I maybe wrong here so other experts feel free to correct me but duppata draping can be on either sides and dont think it holds any significance. It is mostly upto bride's comfort level, draping artist recommendations, styling choice etc.

I am only aware of dupatta side specifications that are followed during chaniya choli for gujarati garba, gujarati style saree draping and bengali style saree draping.

The Mehndi outfits are lovely! Though I really wish Kiara had opted for a better make up artist. There’s barely any makeup and bad lipstick shades throughout. None of her features were highlighted properly.
