SRK's movies don't need to get "saved" but why not some goodies (if presented in a palatable manner) to attract additional public.

Actually, many other prominent actors' movies are pepped up with goodies (cameos and eye candies)...also YOUR favourite(s)' ones.

Basically, they often haven't proved to be a recipe for the respective movie's financial success, right?

If the cameo is true, then this movie is totally a south product, like Atlee, Anirudh, Nayan, Setupati and probably allu arjun, so I don’t know if anything is stopping it from becoming a big hit unless the plot is really really bad and SRK is a complete misfit for the role, otherwise such a great combo didn’t even happen in South in the last years.
