Turkey is a beautiful state and recently we were contemplating visiting it but guess that plan will be on hold. Yes Nado, where rules are not adhered to and greed takes over, destruction is guaranteed but heart rending for generations lost in the quake, lives annihilated, property destroyed, so difficult to build a civilisation but it vanishes in a second!! I agree with you. It is a beautiful country. Rich in cultural and historical heritage. The resorts are also nice. Everyone I know who has been to Turkey had words of praise.

Today I read that they arrested 48 of them because of bad construction. I think it's just to reduce the anger of the people because they have elections coming up soon, in a few months. After the earthquake, which happened in 1999, it was to be expected that they would understand the danger to which they were exposed. But that's not the case. There are no people, there are no cities, but that's why some have filled their bank accounts.

In some better times, which I hope will come soon, maybe you and Vibha and I will be able to go to Turkey.
