Episode 3 (Not just mine your children too!!!)

Virat annoyed with Vinayak and Savi’s demand tells them, “Vinu, Savi what is this? Didn’t we explain to you yesterday that Bappa has given you both each other? Then what is the need of another brother and sister? Why don’t you both understand?” Sai murmurs, “How will they understand? After all who is their Baba? The man who has taken Ph.d in not understanding things!!” Virat hears her and asks, “What did you say?” Sai shakes her head signing nothing and calls out to the children, “Vinu, Savi, Bada listen to your Aai. Open the door please!!! We will come out and discuss about it together.” Vinayak and Savi refuse to listen to her and together say that they will let them out only if they give them a brother and a sister. Virat and Sai were completely displeased with their kids’ rebellious behavior. Virat asks Sai, “Give me your phone, I will inform someone from the family and ask them to come.” Sai tells him that her phone is with the Kakka who had asked her to give the phone to him if she wanted to enter. Virat remembers that the old man had asked him to do the same thing. He goes to the door, calls out the old man and asks him, “What is this Kakka? You are as old as my father and you are playing wicked along with my children?” The old man replies, “Sorry sir your children are so cute and innocent that I’m obliged to help them and what is wrong in what they are asking? Just give them what they want!!” Virat murmurs “Weren’t these two mischievous ones enough. Both of them have gone exactly on their mother then how I can plan to have another one like them?” Sai gets angry on hearing that and hits him saying, “They are not just my children, they are your children too so they will have your qualities too.” Virat, “My qualities? They seem to be nowhere like me!! Both of them are stubborn with what they want to have just like you.” Sai lets her mouth agape in amazement. She asks him, “You think I’m stubborn?” Virat “Think? I have never seen a stubborn woman like you in my whole life!!!” Sai, “Then what about your wife Mrs. Patralekha Chavan?” The argument continues. Virat and Sai keep arguing with each other. Vinayak and Savi get worried hearing their argument. Savi calls out, “Uff oh Aai-Baba, stop arguing with each other. Shubham said that he got a little sister when his parents were happy with each other so you both also should be happy with each other.” The old man lets out a laugh while Virat and Sai feel embarrassed and continue to argue with each other. Just then, Vinayak’s phone rings. It was Patralekha on the other side, Vinayak tells her that they are returning home and will reach there in a few minutes. After Vinayak hangs up the phone, he tells the old man, “Aajoba we have to return home now but will Aai-Baba grant us our wish?” The old man tells them in a soft tone, “Don’t you believe in your magical water?” Flashback, Vinayak and Savi throw the water from the water jug and fill it with the Vodka that they had bought. Flashback ends. Savi “Yes but will Aai-Baba drink it?” The old looks on, thinks for a moment and says, “They will surely drink if Bappa wants them to. So just pray to Bappa and ask Bappa to grant you what you want.” The children look at the old man keenly and then look at the door and listen to their parents fighting with each other. They were saddened hearing the arguments. Later, they bid adieu from the old man and leave. Once Vinayak and Savi leave, the old man comes near the door and calls out Virat and Sai and tells them, “Sir, Ma’am, your children have left. They were disappointed that you were constantly fighting with each other. You both seem to be well settled then what is wrong with you both to plan for another child?” Virat and Sai tensely looked at each other. Virat tells him, “Kakka you don’t know about the situation of our family.” The old man, “Whatever the situation be you both should overcome that for the happiness of your children.” Sai, “The situation is such that we cannot overcome it even for the sake of our children.” Virat looks at her and mockingly tells, “And how can I bear to think about having another child with you.” Sai gets irritated and tells, “You think yourself to be Hritik Roshan? That I would be dying to have a child with you?” Virat, “Do you even know about the personal life of Hritik Roshan? I’m much better compared to him!!” Sai, “What is better about you? That your life always revolved around two women?” They continue to argue. The old man bangs his head hearing their arguments and tells them, “Whatever you both do, I’m not going to open this door until tomorrow morning. Now it’s upto you both that you want to fight and die in there!!” Virat and Sai were shocked to hear that.

Chavan Nivas

Vinayak and Savi return home and everyone welcome them. Savi tells Ashwini, “Aaji, today my Aai won’t come home because she told she has to perform an operation on a serious patient so will you prepare the dinner for me.” Pakhi looks on after hearing it. Ashwini tells Savi, “Oh why not my little munchkin, today I will prepare yours and Vinayak’s favorite food.” Vinayak and Savi jump in joy. Ashwini keeps pampering the children and takes them in. Pakhi gets thinking, “Did Sai take my words too seriously and decide not to spend too much time in Chavan Nivas in order to avoid Virat?”

Guest House

Virat and Sai are seated discouraged after hearing to the old man’s condition when Sai’s stomach rumbles. Virat giggles. Sai angrily questions, “What?? Haven’t your stomach made such noises when you are hungry? I skipped my lunch today.” Virat calls out the old man. “Kakka, can you get us something to eat?” The old man tells him, “There are some essentials kept in the kitchen for the guests who come here. Some of the guests prefer cooking so we keep those essentials for them.” Sai on hearing that, “Ok I will prepare my own food and will not give you because I’m not your wi…” She stops herself. They keep looking at each other. The lyrics “Dil ki sunhe toh…Raha jaaye nah…Kehna jo chahu…Kaha jaaye nah………………..ghum hai kisikey pyaar mein” plays in the background. The music ends. Virat tries to distract saying, “What do you think? I need your help to fill my stomach? The Deputy Commissioner of Nagpur can cook his own food.” Sai angrily, “Fine do whatever you want. I’m going to cook my food.” She goes to kitchen and starts to prepare. As she opens the tap near the sink to wash the rice, the water comes out with force and splashes all over her body. Sai gets drenched in water. She shouts for help. Virat comes there and seeing Sai all drenched, laughs out loudly. Sai glowers at him. (Ghum hai kisikey pyaar mein happy tune funny tune plays in the background).

Episode 4 (Outbreak of a thunder)

Chavan Nivas

Pakhi is waiting for Virat. She wonders why Virat hadn’t returned home yet. Vinayak and Savi peek at Pakhi slyly from behind. Pakhi calls on Virat’s phone. The old man picks up. Pakhi asks him, “Who is it?” The old man introduces himself as a police constable. She asks him, “Where is Virat?” The old man tells her, “He’s in an important meeting with higher officials and the meeting will last the whole night.” Pakhi asks him, “What kind of a meeting is that?” The old man tells her that it is something related to terrorist attacks in the city. Pakhi even though feels doubtful says ok and hangs up the phone. She asks, “A meeting about terrorist attacks?” Vinayak and Savi give high-five on hearing that. Flashback, Savi tells the old man, “Aajoba if anyone calls on Baba’s phone just tell them that Baba is in an important meeting.” The old man asks, “What if they ask what meeting is it?” Savi, “Then tell them it is a meeting about terrorist attacks then they will not be able to question anything.” Flashback ends.

Guest House

As soon as the old man hangs up the call, Virat comes near the door and asks him, “Kakka can you get some women’s clothing? Sai is all drenched.” The old man tells him, “What is wrong with you? Sometimes food sometimes clothes. There is no end to your demands. For your kind information this is a guest house. We do not keep clothes here for the guests who come.” Virat, “Kakka please can you arrange something? Something of your family members?” The old man says, “My family does not live here Sir. And this place is nearly 20 km away from the main city so you won’t get any clothes nearby at this time.” Virat walks away disheartened. When he goes inside, he sees Sai shivering in cold. He feels pity for her. He removes his uniform shirt and gives it to Sai. Sai tells him that she doesn’t need it but he asks her to change or else she will not be able to return home the next day. Sai reluctantly takes Virat’s uniform shirt and goes inside.

After Sai goes in, Virat checks the rice which was scattered all over the ground. Sai had put down the vessel with rice when the water splashed on her. Now there was no more rice to be made. Virat opens the refrigerator and sees bread, few eggs, cheese and tomatoes. He decides to prepare cheese bread omelette. He takes the essentials and keeps them on the kitchen slab when he notices something kept there. It was a cotton candy machine. He asks the old man about it. The old man says that one of the guests had a fancy for cotton candies and bought this machine, however he had not taken the machine along with him when he had left. Virat asks him if he can use it. The old man permits him to do so. Then, the old man tells him that he would like to take some rest so does he need something else. Virat tells the old man that he does not need anything else and allows the old man to leave. After the old man leaves, Virat starts preparing the dishes.

Inside the washroom

Sai keeps gazing at Virat’s shirt. She opens the buttons and sniffs the shirt. A chill runs down her spine as she could sense Virat’s odour in her nostrils. She remembers their moments together. Ghum hai kisikey pyaar mein plays in the background. She slowly undresses herself and wears the police uniform shirt.

Outside

Virat had finished preparing the cheese bread omelette and keeps them on the table. As his eyes look up, they fall on Sai wearing his uniform shirt. Sai feels uncomfortable with Virat staring at her and tries to pull down the shirt. Ghum hai kisikey pyaar mein plays in the background. Sai asks Virat, “Why are you staring at me?” Virat looks away and tells her, “I was not staring at you but at my uniform. Careful, a uniform is as important to a policeman as his duty in itself.” Sai furiously, “I will remove your uniform as soon as my clothes dry up and will return it to you after washing it.” Virat nods and tells her, “Now come and eat.” Sai surprised, “You made food for me too?” Virat, “Of course, I am not like you and I was scared to spend the night with a famished wild cat.” Sai angrily, “I don’t want it!!” Virat, “Think about it, there is nothing else left in the kitchen.” Sai’s stomach growls on hearing that. Virat giggles softly.

Sai comes down and starts gobbling the food made by Virat. Virat smiles seeing her eat. Sai asks him, “Why are you looking at me? Don’t you want to eat?” Virat shakes his head and starts having his cheese bread omlette. The cheese sticks to the side of his lips. Sai laughs seeing it. Virat asks her, “Why are you laughing?” Sai tells him that the bina muchad DCP has become a aadha moochwala now. Virat asks, “What?” Sai, “There is cheese stuck near your lips.” Virat asks her where and tries to wipe it off but he places his hand on the wrong place. Sai tells him, “Not there” and wipes off the cheese from his face. Her fingers touch his lips in that process. Both feel a shiver in their bodies and keep gazing into each other’s eyes. Ghum hai kisikey pyaar mein plays in the background.

Chavan Nivas

The Chavan family members are having dinner. Bhavani asks Savi, “So your Aai told you that she will not come home tonight.” Savi, “Yes Bade Aaji” Pakhi continues, “And Virat too won’t be coming home as he is held in an important meeting.” Bhavani, “It’s funny how both Virat and Sai are not home together today.” Pakhi gets thinking, “I hope they both keep their word and do not cross their lines and come close to each other.” A thunder breaks outside.

Guest House

Virat and Sai come out of their eyelock on hearing the thunder. Sai says she needs water and goes to get water. She takes the water jug, the same jug in which Vinayak and Savi had filled Vodka and takes an instant gulp. She feels a burn down her throat. She asks, “What kind of water is this? Why is my throat burning?” Virat suspiciously looks at her. Sai continues to take another gulp and feels the same when Virat comes and takes the water jug from her. He sips from it and realizes it was Vodka. Sai tells him, “Virat I need more water.” Virat tells her, “You can’t have this water.” He looks around for water but there was no water. He goes to look in the refrigerator.

Chavan Nivas

Savi and Vinayak are standing in front of Bappa. Savi, Vinayak pray to him, “Bappa, that Aajoba told us that you will surely give us what we want if we ask you. So please Bappa, make Aai-Baba so happy that they give us a brother and a sister.” A flower falls down from the idol’s hand.

Guest House

Virat looks in the refrigerator and finds no water in it too. Just then he notices Sai about to drink more vodka from the jug. He hastens up to her and gets the water jug from her hand. She pleads, “Virat, I want water.” He says, “You can’t drink this water.” Sai asks, “But why?” Virat instantly puts the jug on his mouth and gulps the whole vodka from it. Sai was surprised.

Another thunder breaks outside.

Your writing has that element of visual imagery, I can see Sai in Virat's uniform shirt before my eyes drinking magical water. Life of Sai-Virat away from CN is a bliss. Vinu-Savi's demand is gonna be fulfilled😳
