Easily he can be jealous to Viaan since he lacks Viaan’s capabilities & calibers!

Party when Jithu bhai was about to thank Viaan for surprising him with party , Eshan quickly took away the mic see the jealousy !

As educated fans/viewers of TV fiction shows, if we like a new hindi daily serial concept, theme, casting, main leads, key character sketches, locations, story backdrop, plots etc. or due to hyped promos and media coverage that generate buzz to create some curiosity, (or due to mouth publicity heard from our circle) we may give a try to check out which channel it airs, and if time slot suits our routine, that's it. After trying it out, if a serial attracts us or if we find some interesting elements that catch our attention, foresee some anticipation factors that can hook us, main leads or key characters that charm or entertain or intrigue us, we continue taking out time to watch it, irrespective of channel, time slot or TRPs,also if not on TV, then we check online using other mediums where clips/episodes are available to watch regularly.

Now most Indian general TV viewers, that too current pay TV subscribers DON'T decide/deliberate which hindi fiction or GEC they want to watch or not based on some weekly TRPs list published by BARC after seeing rise or fall in numbers in the chart.

So lets watch & enjoy whatever we like or choose to, till a fiction serial is run or till it grabs our attention😃 or till it doesn't disgust/distress us😔irrespective of which channel it airs or where its listed on some popularity charts. Simple funda that people like me follow.

Viaan and Ehsan are two extremely different characters. Ehsan was always like this and we get to see his this face now slowly. I don't think it is a character assassination. He is a layered character with more grey shade.

On the contrary, Viaan appears to be more hard and tough guy outside, but he has a soft and humane side which he rarely express.

Katha is a strong and principled woman, she is determined and has her priorities set, but her social life and humane side we have not yet seen. We have only seen her as struggling mom and hard working professional. There is a lot more to explore in her character

Hope the makers bring in more surprises with this beautiful story, and they need not to compromise for TRP game

I know there will be lots of difficulties in their union. Aarav may think that viaan wants to take his father's place. But I know he will understand later. And more than anything I am. waiting for the time when during kaviaan's break-up, aarav will support viaan and even katha wont be able to break them apart

I understood from your posts that you felt the same way. I don't like to spend my time on negative stuff. I genuinely like this show and its characters. The writers have been good up to now. They must have their reasons for going down this route. Let us see where they take us. I expect Ehsan to do much worse after this. At least I am prepared this time😊

What I mean by that is for instance she can easily relay to PapaG that he doesn't have to be sorry for not informing her when her child almost went missing. Katha did inform Ehsan that she was not interested in any romantic relationship. Unfortunately, she took him at his word when he said that he understood. My problem is that Ehsan's actions are in conflict with his words. Katha needs to draw the line. I don't feel that she is leading him on but Ehsan may get that perception and feel encouraged. He is deluded enough as it is.

so jeetu bhai offering viaan a drink was not filled with malice. instead, he was giving as a host and almost like a fatherly + coworker vibe. jeetu bhai does not have a problem with drinking or people who drink. so there isn't a kind of derision to it. they are at his wedding anniversary party and he is offering a drink to his boss and not just any drink but single malt -- so that is viaan's preferred drink and jeetu bhai knew it. so there is a level of comfort there. however, viaan wasn't in the mood per se to drink and mostly looking at how fast he can exit after doing a bit of mixing around.

katha is a teetotaler but she doesn't necessarily have an ick attitude towards drinkers or drinking. it is just her choice not to drink.

now, ehsaan drinks but wants to pretend that he is high and mighty. so he acts like he doesn't drink or is above it all. here his non-drinking is about showing folks how righteous he is. in the same vein, he puts down viaan because he can drink like a tanker on occasion. there is derision. he assumes that because katha is a teetotaler, she has disgust towards those who drink and he wanted to put viaan down in her eyes. so he wasn't teasing or ribbing but there was malice involved. even if viaan didn't recognize it, he could sense the malic and thats why viaan got upset and moved away.

but then ehsaan had to prove his point about viaan being a drunkard -- so he spikes the juice and forces viaan to drink at several points. will have to agree with others here (paula, angel) that there are 'friends' like this in real life. have heard stories and it always makes your head spin. they are not good friends but rather out to destroy your life out of jealousy. so in that way, his turn is not unexpected if we take a step back and look at it. still, it is always hard to believe when those next to you stab you.

I agree M. I tend to protect myself from bad people or situations but it doesn't mean that these stuff don't happen. I do not judge those who drink nor think that Katha does. The problem is that the scene came out of the blue. Didn't expect Ehsan to stoop so low. For me, there is no coming back from this situation. No friendship should withstand such a situation. You can accept, even forgive but don't give a chance to such a person to betray you again to this extent.

I was prepared for Ehsan's jealousy and insecurity but not for his malice and intent to humiliate Viaan. Ehsan has turned into a full-fledged villain🤣
