Yaar baat wohi hai na why show such ott and extreme characters like his mom? People can be reasonable , yet when thy face difficult situations they may take rash decisions or do something foolish or say something foolish..
In ishquia , (coz it's it's same director) , the hero did the same thing..he attempted suicide for the girl..his mom also wanted him to marry off to some rich girl but after she saw her son in a vegetable state, all she asked was good health for him ..how traumatizing it is for the parents to see their children dead or attempt suicide, as a parent I know... ..its a very sensitive topic n it's sad they show it just to create drama.
Also if areeb held a gun on his head and asked maheer to say yes for shadi , he will be called obsessive , toxic what not.. I'm just pointing out the red flags in his behavior..if maheer rejected his proposal he would become a stalker or not ..from here on , the trajectory of his character will decide my liking for him ..
Of course..his world came crashing down in one day with no fault of his..hisfather died there maheer got married to someone else..ab kya bolo..it was destined to be like this.
Maheer also took cowardly route..put the blame on Saad n as he paved way for them, she didn't even feel bad for him.
Anyways it was a sad but well executed epi..only the 2 fathers were happy😆
@bold..it has to be the 1st well executed epi of this drama!Except for the noodles wali aunty i felt for everyone😆.The three main characters are shattered especially Areeb given his situation,he has lost all in one day,i cant even blame Mahi when she will be going soft after knowing truth and Saad will be stuck in between all this.It is a sad situation!
Those fathers made me sick especially Mahi's one,he lacks empathy even for the dead and was judging Areeb after knowing what has happened!Saad's father was the most happiest with the marriage,arre look at your own son's face,how can you be happy knowing you are making your son someone's backup,a replacement!
