This happens. I used to be a teacher. I have seen a couple of cases where the child is asked who he / she wants to stay with of course it's done in a closed door meeting with a counsellor around.

Sai should have brought out all the crimes hypocrite DCP and his ex-bhabhi did. Not to forget the crimes committed by so-called respectful Nagesh Chavan's family. Any judge worth his salt would give custody to Sai in a heartbeat and order to throw these criminals in jail. All problems would have been solved so easily.

Court cases in India are not so cut n dry .. it’s very very unfair .. and a lot of muck is thrown in child custody cases

So if it was Sai vs virat in Vinayak’s custody zz regarding the new status .. virat would have got custody as vinu’s biological father abd child growing up with him

just like Savi is growing up with her mother ..

vinu is Sai ka prasad .. Sai was offering .. but pakhi refused it ..

Maybe Sai will request the judge that she won't get Vinu to court but she will talk to the child and inform the decision to court later. Judge may give permission to Sai to tell Vinu the truth.

Else CN guys won't let Sai to talk to Vinu, unless it's court s decision.

Vinu will know definitely otherwise how will he say he wants to move with his both mothers
