Really! I too didn't have that much hope. but they did a really good job. didn't drag too much. that 5min is highlight of the whole after-leap track.

After this Akshu char elevated. when we saw the first episode after leap felt what happened she got changed this much. which explains why she changed. everybody taking for granted.

You raise an interesting point about adopted children. In real life Akshu may have waited until he was a teenager to tell him.

Birlas are a mess. I know we are pointing to a lot of Abhi's mistakes and his own behavior but I don't think he is a complete villian either. And this has nothing to do with the actor playing him. I tend to usually side with Akshu on most argument matters. But even I have come to realize she doesnt make the best decisions and her need to do the right thing overshadows her common sense at times.

If Abhi and Akshu were acting like adults then Akshu should tell Abhi privately and make the condition that he could met his son but on neutral grounds. She has 6 years worth of pent up grievances against his family. He always told her to stay out of their lives as they don't understand things the same way she does. That was to protect her from their toxic behavior. So she should throw that back to him.

And the thing is as much as Akshu is grateful to Abhinav for his support and she has developed a friendship with him. He ultimately has no right on Abhir if their marriage is fake and there is no real paper. The writers keep going back and forth with it. I am still under the impression no legal document has been signed showing them as real husband and wife. Abhinav's paper dialogue means fake or its only that one hospital paper where he signed his name as father. He has no real grounds to keep Abhir either. Akshu keeps saying its my son Abhir.

Akshu is being selfish because she is still in running mode. The only way she can be calm is for Abhi to remain calm and handle his family. Keep Manjari out this and ask for visitation rights.
