I don't think she ever switched like that but she certainly let go of her self-respect, and allowed other to crush her self-esteem and walk all over her. The thing she started to lack the most is self-love and self-worth. That is why she settled for being treated the way she was.

I also never understood how she developed (or even realised) feelings for a person who was behaving so badly with her. Shouldn't that happen when someone makes you feel special or at least loved. Her situation would have been instead made me fall out of love with that person.

When Shiva's insecurity track initially started his feelings was clearly explored till he gave divorce but not even once we got to know what actually raavi wanted from this marriage why she wants to live with Shiva so desperately

Even when disha was introduced raavi being jealous and bothered was not explored well out of nowhere unknowingly Anita made her realise she likes Shiva and it was she who stopped the engagement why still i m not clear about it

When gradually both started taking steps towards e/o post disha track bang IVF /divorce kaand happened where Shiva dragged her out of house and she returned boldly announcing her love to Shiva/mohalla crushing all her self respect

And then rinse repeat drama is going on since ages

This is the biggest mystery of this show..if handled and written by a sane person, they would have shown ravi suffering from some mixed kind of stockholm syndrome or issues related in fear abandonment being an orphan..her lack of self respect and selfless love for shiva despite his numerous harassement isnt normal..Only ditching him and his fam for good can get her back to her senses..

Putting some amount of efforts because they were married made sense, but not the amount she did. Why stay with someone who keeps pushing you away and ill-treating you. He made it quite clear how little he thought of her (whatever his reasons may have been) and did not want to stay with her. She should have just focused on moving ahead and continuing her studies. They could have taken a leap and (if they wanted) reunited them then after they had both matured a bit and gained more life experience. The marriage would have been on more of an even-footing.

Even Shiva's feelings were very inconsistent. He had no problem hurting her, insulting her, distrusting her, throwing her out and enjoying her misery. How is that love? He never gave her even a fraction of what he got and/or wanted from her. It was more like attraction and possessiveness. She was like an object he coveted and the only times he valued her were when he was about to lose her.

Saw the episode , it was kinda a slap back to me for ever getting back to this show . All these emotional manipulation this dhara and suman and Shiva do are so triggering for me and was the prime reason I stopped watching .

I hoped with kids may be something good or light hearted comes in but it's too much to hope from chaaubeys and their rubbish story writing .

I am off the show again Prema .. real life has enough toxic people , ab show mein bhi nahi chahiye ..😆

Will continue to follow Kanwar and Alice coz I still like them and will read FFs here for the love towards the characters Shiva and Raavi 😊

A lot of people seemed to have liked Shiva for the love he had for his family and everything he did for them. But that wasn't a reason for any outsider to fall in love with him, especially when treated the way Raavi was. At the most she could have respected him for that.

Love should have gradually happened after they spent time together, got to properly know each other, let go of their past and treated the other well. Instead they never spent that much time together or even had proper conversations.

The only thing that made sense in that situation was for it to be physical attraction. Except Shiva wasn't actually supposed to be a good-looking character. Raavi's feelings could have been more about not wanting her marriage to break or losing more people/relations in her life. She was shown considering her marriage breaking as a failure (when she first left the house).

Yes, the story certainly has been going in circles for a long time.

Please don't apologise. I love interacting with everyone here and reading their thoughts on this. It also gave me the opportunity to pen down my own.

I never seen shiva being not selfish when it comes to ravi..he is a selfless person only for bhabhi and suman..but when it comes to ravi, he is so full of himself..his attitude is like that of some upper level people tolerating the kinds of ravi and rishitha..🤪..and i wont say the same of dev though..becz though he is a hypocrite, there have been many instances where he did justice to his relationship over his bhabhi obsessionor his selfishness.

Won’t be watching the episode as these days don’t feel like it, I cannot handle too much of one person. 😭Anyways came here to tell you having read last couple of pages of this EDT, Shiva, once recovers may throw Raavi out of the house or have a huge fight whereby he won’t talk to her.

This is because I was watching (don’t know why) episode 468 where Shiva says to Raavi, if you ever separate me from my family, that’ll be the end of their relationship 😭

Now I don’t know how far writers can remember whilst writing but after todays episode, it’s highly likely that this will happen once Shiva recovers knowing that Raavi kept him away from his dearest for 7 long years!

I agree. Even though Shiva is supposed to have suffered from an inferiority complex, he did appear he believe himself to be better than Raavi. He constantly looked down upon her and casually insulted her even in front of others. Making her put all the effort while he just watched didn't seem like insecurity but rather entitlement. He never cared about her dignity or feelings even after his accusations were proven wrong let alone during. If he truly considered himself unworthy of her then how was he able to forgive himself so easily, expect her to do the same and even repeat the same thing time and again. The way he has behaved with her is not how one does with someone they consider an equal. This can't even be blamed on his upbringing as he has seen Gautam treating Dhara in the exact opposite manner. He acts like Dhara and Suman and the only two women who deserve any respect. It's sad.
