I'm thinking it's something what i learnt in my writing class. You can write a negative, evil, despicable character but don't write an irritating one. You can't write a character that people don't want to read about and just skip over.

Tina, shaleen, stan, archana all are far more problematic. With them i still want to see them get bashed but with priyanka, i just change the channel.

That's the only explanation i can think of.
