Curious Update

Why is Maan blaming Geet for anything

both Maan and Geet needs to get serious

about their marriage

I understand Maan worrying about Annie

but that does not mean he keeps his wife away

Why is Maan mad at her? What was wrong with her going to the farmhouse?

Maan pushed her to go home. Whats on his mind?

Geet's dadi is two steps ahead. And here step one is not even done.

Maan is so stupid. Someone needs to set him right.

Part – 23

At the Handa house…

Geet is confined to her room…

Geet can’t stop thinking about the days she spent with Maan…

All she has got now is just her beautiful memories that she made at KM ….

Geet goes into the past…

That time when she went to the farmhouse with Maan for the first time….

How could she forget that? What beautiful days that were?

Geet got to know Maan better only there while they were alone….

Maan is working late night…

He wants to be free on Sunday….

Maan loves his time at the farm….

Far from the madding crowd you could say…

Maan would settle here itself if not for KC…

KC is his first love, he started going to KC very early and it has been his life from then on…

He has little or no interest in anything else but his business,

Other than that Maan likes to be left on his own, he is used to coming to the farm on weekends all alone after Madan shifted to KM…

Annie comes once in a while… but after Riya started visiting the farm, they come with Maan mostly….

Maan loves to spend time with Riya, they stroll through the fields while Riya runs after the birds trying to catch them…

Geet and Riya keep watching Maan, they are hungry and there is no sign of dinner being cooked…

The cook has already left, maybe he is sick…

Maan should have some plans for dinner for sure, maybe he will take them out…

But this Maan is still working…

He might not be hungry but he should think about the guests, haina ?

Geet is the guest you know, she has come to the farm for the first time, she doesn’t expect a scrumptious feast to welcome her, but this Khurana should at least feed her on time and not keep her starving like this….

Geet: Riya, what’s the time?

Riya looks at Geet and blinks…

Geet: Riya, it’s 8’o clock

Maan: Riya, go to sleep, it’s bedtime

Geet: what?

Maan: that’s what you want na? Go to the room and sleep

Geet: what do you mean sleep?

Maan: itne raat ko aur kya karna chahti ho?

Aaise hubby ko paake Geet aur kya kar sakti?

Geet: I can’t sleep with an empty stomach

Maan: what?

Maan’s dinner is the fresh fruits they had in the evening from the farm..

Riya has her milk….

That’s what they have for dinner usually….

The cook also leaves after the evening snacks…

Maan looks at Geet like, why are you telling me?

If you are hungry, go eat something…

But Geet thought Maan had other plans for dinner…

Maan: so

Geet: I’m starving Mr.Khurana

Maan: toh khalo, you don’t need my permission for that

Geet: I know, I don’t need anyone’s permission for anything

Geet goes to the kitchen and checks the fridge, maybe there is some leftover food from lunch…

The lunch was good…. Grilled chicken, roti and fried rice…

Maan likes everything fresh, so the cook takes the leftover for himself while leaving…

Geet is disappointed and angry, her hunger is growing bigger and her anger even bigger….

Geet then tries to order something… but who will deliver to this jungle?

She goes back to see Maan….

Riya is asleep and Maan has taken her to the room…

Geet waits for him and she is really turning mad…

Maan comes….

Geet: this is how you treat your guests? If you don’t want them to stay, then you should tell them, you shouldn’t punish them like this and let them die of hunger

What? Who dies by missing one meal?

Maan knows that she has not eaten and that’s why she is angry….

Maan goes to see what’s there in the kitchen…

Geet follows him….

Geet: wahan kuch nahi hai, what kind of a kitchen is this? There is nothing to eat, not even a cookie, or ice cream

Maan doesn’t eat junk food…

Geet: poor Riya, she won’t get anything good to eat if she stays with you

Maan pretends not to be bothered, but he can’t ignore Geet….

Maan goes and finds some eggs… fresh from the farm…

Maan makes a quick cheese omlette….

Geet is turning even more mad…..

What’s he thinking? He is making food for himself now?.

What about me?

I shouldn’t have come with him listening to that devil dadi…

Maan takes and keeps that on the table…

Maan starts to walk off…

Geet goes and stops him…

Geet: what’s this?

Maan: can’t you see?

Geet: I can, but what would I do with this?

Maan: what? You said you are hungry

Geet: but I don’t eat egg , I’m allergic to it

Maan doesn’t know that… now what?

Why didn’t she tell him while he was making the omlette…

That’s Geet…. Maan has to learn a lot about her….

Geet gets angry, she gets the keys of the car and goes out in a fury….

Where is she going at this time?

Maan goes and stops her….

Maan snatches the keys and goes back to the house….

Geet sits in the veranda and goes on strike…

Maan comes out with some chocolates that he keeps for Riya….

He throws them in front of Geet and goes back…

Geet: I can’t eat these for dinner

Maan doesn’t care and leaves..

Geet quietly follows him…

Maan takes the omlette and is eating it leisurely…

Geet: awwww ye toh hadd ho gayi hai, Geet, tumme toh bhuka hi marna hoga

She the goes back to the veranda and looks at the chocolates…

Geet: Geet, Aaj iss se khalo, Mrs.Khurana banne ka bahut shok tha na? Ab bukat lo

Geet takes the chocolate and eats thinking that else she would have to stay hungry the whole night…

Maan doesn’t believe in wasting food and moreover Geet has pushed him into stress eating….

Maybe the saying that hunger makes you a monster is true, after eating Maan feels a bit relaxed and his brain is back to normal….

Without Geet around, Maan could think straight, he finds some pasta in the pantry…

Maan finishes eating , and quickly makes some pasta…

Maan comes to call her ….

But Geet is fast asleep… she is tired after all the drama…

Maan is upset that she made him cook at this time, that too twice and has slept in the meantime….

Maan: Geeeeet

Geet wakes up frightened…

Geet: what happened?

Maan: khana tayaar hai

Geet: why were you screaming? mujhe laga koi Sher aagaya ho? But even the animals wouldn’t come here to starve, haina babaji?

Geet gets up and goes in…

Maan is relieved and he heads to the bedroom to take some rest at last…

But Geet is going in that direction…

Maan: what are you doing?

Geet: I’m going to sleep? I don’t think I need your permission

Maan: what? What about your hunger?

Geet: hatto, I’m feeling sleepy, I want to sleep now

Geet goes and lies down with Riya….

Maan is frustrated but he is helpless….

Geet is hungry but she is angry…. She won’t eat anything this Khurana made…

What if he made something horrible?

Geet should have cooked something for herself…

But Geet thought that she should punish this Khurana for not caring about her and make him pay for it…

Maan goes and sleeps in the other room…

He can’t eat the Pasta now…. Maan has a lot to worry than that pasta now…

After an hour, Geet wakes up…

Her stomach woke her up… she feels very hungry….

Geet is used to having her mid night snacks while watching TV… she is a night owl na?

Geet goes and checks what Maan specially cooked for her…

She finds the pasta on the table…

She heats the Pasta and eats it…

Its really delicious… Maan knows cooking!!!!!

Geet finishes the entire plate and feels good…

That was some good food…

She goes back to sleep satisfied….

Next morning…

Maan wakes up early as usual and goes to drink his coffee…

He finds the plate empty…

So she ate what he made for her….

Maan is surprised to see that the plate is clean, she ate everything?

Either she must have been famished, or Maan’s Pasta was that good…

Knowing Geet, Maan thinks that the possibility of the first option is higher… anyway Maan is happy that she didn’t sleep with an empty stomach…

Else she would have been awake by now and started troubling him…

Now, that should hold her till the cook comes and prepares breakfast…

Maan goes to see Riya… Riya too wakes up early like her mamu…

Maan finds Geet fast asleep…

The sun’s rays are moving towards her….

Maan immediately closes the screen….

Riya wakes up hearing the noise….

Maan takes Riya with him and let’s Geet to enjoy sleeping….

This monster is good when asleep, let her sleep as much aa possible…

But Geet knows that Maan never disturbs her from sleep, he really cares about her… haina?

They leave that evening…

Geet had a great time…

Though she was kept hungry, she had something specially cooked by the MSK…

She has beaten Maan in the race again….

It was a good experience all together….

Geet would love to come back every time with Maan…. But she has to remind ramu kaka that she eats three meals a day just like anyone else.. she is not an alien from the skies like the Khuranas….

and riya just milk...and cook took all the leftover food eh...no wonder geet is mad and hungry

glad maan made some food for her but then she does not eat eggs...atleast he cooked pizza for her and she did end up eating it in the middle of the night....good food eh...

but whast going to happen to these two...does maan really not want her at all...he has no feelings at all for her??

Interesting update…tremendously written

so Geet recalls the past moments she spent with Maan

at least she got to know Maan better

alas Maan does not seem to know much about Geet

at least he cooked for Geet
