I don't like that the judgement about Rajamouli (in the Twitter post) is only based on a snippet of a speech...one should be able to listen to the whole speech before doing the comparison....otherwise it reeks of manipulation.

Now people are going overboard. Regular people who live north of the Vindhyas are too busy in their own lives to make fun of anyone except in a benign way. Bollywood and North India are not the same.

as everyone said he was clarifying it is not bw but a telugu lang film from india, it has taken a long time for south to get its own position and come out of shadow of bw (i dont mean quality wise but exposure),

however, most north indians are very aware now and know all about south, diff langs etc, so this stereotype that they all mock and call them madrasis is outdated

all these extreme voices from both sides will try to cash in and bring in their agenda into everything, common ppl are chill and balanced

having said that, i can see that ssr's win in golden globes and worldwide exposure has led to some jealousy, lot of hit pieces and videos recently which are manipulating his words

as blue ice correctly said, kisi ke success pe khush hi nahin ho sakte hum, we want to bring down everyone

Rajamouli is such a hypocrite because he was calling it an Indian movie while promotions of this movie at the time of its release. Oh wait, maybe that was all a facade to trap the gullible Bollywood audience and make money all over India. And Look at him now. He is ashamed to call it Indian. Wow man just wow.

Huge respect for Sanjay Leela Bhansali here for making the country proud. I guess right education and some humility are more important than winning an award.

Actually i am glad he said the right thing----he mentioned south--and that is the truth--
