That way they could introduce the concept of non traditional family units to TRP audience. Aur fake hi karna tha toh Nav ko fake brother and fake mamu bana deti.

But if Nav was mamu, her son would not have someone to call papa. So she came up with this half baked idea.

With the level of involvement they've shown Abhinav having with Abhir maybe they'll coparent in future if he isn't thrown off a cliff as the twist. They've shown him too goody good, there has to be some contingency plan or sudden exit depending on TRPs.

Co habitating is also a kind of marriage, to each their own; whatever keeps people happy. Logically, Abhira as endgame would very rarely happen in a real world after the kind of divorce, MC and throwing out that happened...this show is in some alternate reality now😅

I may sound like a spoilt brat but I want abhira that's it! No one else! They are elite!

I don't understand why everyone is bashing Akshu. I know we as viewers know that abhira are end game. But she doesn't know that. She thinks they are over. She is really living a new life with the new guy. She is an escapist, yes, but from her perspective, this is completely fine. She married a guy who could be a good father to her child. She does not love him so the marriage has boundaries. I don't understand the big deal. I don't think this makes her weak or stupid. She knows that Udaipur world has no space for her so she made a new world. She is committed to Nav as a parent to Abhir. And she is not just putting all the responsibility on him. She is contributing to the household too. Not taking money from Goekas is obviously a weird thing, but it maybe that if she took the money they would demand more interaction. It could be that Nav isn't ok with taking their money. Or, worst case, she may have to explain her choices to bade papa. I mean, won't he ask, why did you marry this random guy who can't even afford a good life for you? For Akshu money doesn't matter that much and she is okie with this life. She has also elevated Nav's life. Their living conditions now are obviously much better than they were before.

Hai na, I had a similar thought.

Maybe they want to show that innocence and honesty gets through even the tallest of walls or something.

It'd be interesting if Abhimanyu sees and understands a lot of how much a father Abhinav is to Abhir before he figures out he's the biological dad. That'd be some nice moral complex instead of both Matashri's yelling drama. And JS can act...anyday better watching him than Arohi in the complexes.
