Love, marriage and all bonds are needed for society not for inner consciousness. Ak is happy that way because her inner guilt is not there to chose this path for herself and her kid. Whereas Abhis inner consciousness is not letting him swallow what he did to Ak so he is not happy in his room alone.he is just faking it infront of all . There the difference is shown perfectly. I loved the episode and the way they showed it thruogh Ak. She cut everyone and chose her kids parvarish and didn't make his life horrible.
