A. Some folks think any relationship outside Abhira is cringe including coliving/ coparenting

B. Some folks think coliving/coparenting is ok as long as it is platonic.

C. Some people think after divorce people are free to marry whom ever they choose including brother’s widow/ ex wife’s sister as long as it is platonic

D. Some people think after divorce people are free to marry and live as true husband-wife whomever they choose including brother’s widow/ ex wife’s sister.

I’m ok with A, B. Kinda oK with C.

D is ultimate cringe 😬 for me. But I know someone in my extended family that married one man had three kids with him and then after divorce married his biological brother.

Even, am for the FL Akshu being progressive. Living here in US, i have seen and am still seeing so many couples co parenting their children, so they have a peaceful happy upbringing; not constant quarrels and insecurity that affects children mentally. It is very normal and casual, nothing to feel weird. .

In all this, if Akshara is shown more resilient, fiery and putting everyone in place, then this separation is worth the watch, not melt, say hazaar sorries, cry and look dumb for taking bold decisions. All along, i was not too happy about how she has been shown weak and tongue tied, scared. This has to change, if channel wants TRPs. Am told that is where Ghum scores as Sai is shown in much better light, more stronger in a typical masala cringe serial.

I know, Abhira will be endgame, but, how they are going to go about it can be made interesting, even though, the first week or 2 of episodes after leap can be disconnected due to time taken to reveal. Let me add, that am still feeling disconnected too, so not watching as am annoyed at this forced separation that Abhimanyu is doing all things that he is supposed to be doing with his children.

BTW, Sudha, are you convinced that they will end this Gen 3 with reunion and kick start Gen 4. I remember you said, its not in sight till now and not likely.

Also, you mentioned that it will be Shivaratri time for reunion, does it coincide with 4000 episodes? Did Rajan do anything special during 3000 episodes celebrations, was a happy track or reunion planned too at that time ?
