Maybe Akshu has trouble singing now. Remember her singing is a very emotional part of her. When she is feeling down and out she has trouble singing. In the past she use to connect Abhi with her singing. But due to everything it may have died that day she was kicked out of the house. Or she can sing but she simply chooses not to because it brings back all those memories good and bad and it just becomes too painful to bare.

Maybe you are right! I'm just hoping makers don't make her equally guilty again and make her the punching bag! They mess with akshus character so much!!

Anyway I read on twitter, jam making is very common in that part of India, so it makes sense!
