I am also loving the show like you, of course barring this Viaan character.. But I guess that's intentional.. we're not supposed to like him at the moment.. I really hope writers know what they are doing with this character.. This ML has a long way to go..

I don't know about you but as flawed and illogical as the FIL is, I still like the character. He is complex, still isn't over the loss of his son but he loves his wife enough to be affected by her silence. I like watching shows which have grey characters, who are shaped by their experiences and circumstances.

As of now, I am enjoying the idiotic Viu baby as he has just been named🤣, and I don't have much expectations from him. I am prepared to not agree with his actions, thought processes and I am looking forward to see him evolve in this journey. I have faith that we are in for a good ride with this show.

I was with him until the proposal of the ONS. I could accept his test however lame it was. I try not to judge dysfunctional human beings. I was with him throughout his inner dilemma and struggle but he lost me when he went through with it. I simply could not understand him going through with the act. It makes absolutely no sense. No person with the right set of moral values can justify his actions. How can he judge others and label them when he is so flawed and wrong himself? I know that this is supposed to be a love story but I hope that women stay away from such men in reality. There is something fundamentally wrong with Viaan's thought process and decision-making.

As a child and teen, a lot of my classmates sweet talked to me and tried to become my friends. Once they were in my good books, they would ask me for favours like share your assignment, share your answers, explain this sum etc. Once they got what they wanted, I was ignored. They never invited me to fun things like birthdays or movies. I was too nerdy for cool stuff, in their opinion. I saw them as my friends but they saw me as means to an end. This messed me up a lot, heartbreaks and self doubts. At one point I was wondering if something was wrong with me that no one wanted to be my friend. Then I figured out a way to weed out these people. Not taking initial praises/ compliments seriously and Saying no. Now whenever someone asks for something I say No sometimes even if I can do it. The fake ones get pissed off right away, while genuine friends understand and help.

From Viaan's point of view, Katha impressed him and he on fence whether she is genuine or just using her expertise to gain favours. If you ask me, Viaan would have tested in a professional, acceptable way, like I do, if she hadn't asked for loan. I am not justifying his ONS stance. The feelings of being used is terrible, only the person who has experienced can understand.

So did he sleep with her without any want or did he want her and used this as an excuse to sleep with her? Either way it looks bad.

Going through with it makes zero sense. When does it stop being a test - when you kissed her, undressed her or took her to bed. ... Like were you hoping at each step that she'll ask you to stop? Why didn't you stop at the final point.

It would have made more sense had he simply insulted her when she reached the hotel like he did with the girl that made a pass at him in office.

Viaan Raghuvanshi - Jerk, Creep, Fool or a person too stuck up in his past to see anything clearly. He is biased against women, but deep down he desperately wants some one to prove him wrong.

From the first meeting, Katha impressed him. First with her designs, then with her stubbornness. She saved the whole Dubai project even from his pigheadedness. Unknowing that raised Viaan's hope. She begrudgingly earned his respect. But trust is a whole different thing...

When Katha walked up to him and asked him for a loan of 1cr...all his systems got triggered. She went right into the box of all women are gold diggers...And with the incident with that lady still fresh in his mind, he flippantly threw a deal of ONS to test her.

If he would have paused here, he would have understood that it was work place harassment and he was placing her in the same place where the other employee has put him..and now he becomes the creep who is trying to take advantage.. But his thinking brain was on a holiday and only his reacting brain was spiraling down.

He was waiting for her to accept the offer with some coy smile or something...so that he can fire her and be done with it. So again when Katha rejected the offer with strength, he thought he found the shore he was looking all his life, only to be pushed to the bottom in the next instant.

From then on it only became the battle of survival for him and pushing the other person to the limits.

He was so invested in Katha and the whole thing, no wonder he felt used by Katha. On the other hand...Katha is concentrating only on the act and she is as it is disgusted with it. She doesn't have the brain capacity to think about the man too.. But he is forcing her to see him which will make her hate him even more.

For me, the worst part is that he refuses to see that she is uncomfortable with the whole situation. Viaan only wants to see his mind's projection of a person. He refuses to see reality. He was impressed when Katha first rejected his offer but he never paused to wonder about why she changed her mind. The sad thing is that he doesn't really see her.

I have to admit that I loved the scene where she walks out with the bag without looking at him. Call me perverse but I derived joy from seeing that🤣 how else do you treat a person who treats you as an object or a deal? The woman asked for a loan...Mr Viaan turned it into a deal. Amazed at this man's logic!

Coming back to your point, I feel like subconsciously he was intrigued by her. It's too early to call it attraction for I have not seen any indication of same. Maybe a man can give his point of view for I am unable to understand how he went through the act when the other party was disinterested and simply went through the mechanism of it. Since it's ITV and we only have our imagination, I am assuming that Katha did not participate but simply went through the motions. Does the man not see that? Now I am beginning to think that idiot is a very kind word for this moron🤣
