Viaan purposely called for it after knowing that Katha is on leave. It is his bias that made him think Katha is taking advantage of what happened. If Viaan had already scheduled a meeting and Katha then suddenly took am off or was late that would be unprofessional of her. Also its just a half day off as Jenny also told Viaan.

Moreover even Jeetu bhai was like abb aapka sara samay Earthcon ka hai. I know they think she is single with no responsibilities but taht doesn't mean she doesn't have a life outside her workplace

yea, I hear what you are saying but I think it is about the way it looks.

I remember in my office, there was a couple where he was team lead and she was his junior. they started dating and she would abruptly take leave whenever. it used to really annoy us. so as HR policy, they placed her under a different team lead to avoid it looking like favouritism. it is one of the reasons why managers and juniors dating can get so complicated.

But honestly here we all know Viaan was being unreasonable. His male ego was hurt. He thinks that how can anyone take advantage of him.

my guess is that he is hyper alert because has been taken advanage of before. that was what was implied in his conversation with ehsaan the previous episode.
