Katrina is not a good actor. I don't think you need Vicky to tell you that. He expressed his appreciation for his wife on a personal level.

There's a difference between appreciating someone as an artist and loving them as a person, and Vicky made his love clear.

I don't want to compare them to the other couple, but since you brought their names here, RK hasn't said a nice thing about Alia on a personal level. Anytime he says something about her outside of her work, it comes out sounding ridiculous like the bathroom comment. Maybe they are different in private, but we are only commenting on the public aspects since that's all most of us will ever see.

I don't care so much about someone's looks, chapri-looking or otherwise, or how rich they/their family happen to be, how brilliant their acting is.

Roman Polanski is a brilliant director. He's still a child sex assaulter. Epstein was rich. So was Bill Cosby. Kevin Costner is supposed to be good-looking. Clinton is supposed to be a good-looking charmer, in public and private. JFK was handsome, charming, brilliant, rich, and powerful. None of them were good men or good husbands.

What would matter to me is how the guy would treat me as a person, not as a coworker. I'd want to see not just love and attraction. I'd want to see respect.

This Vicky makes very clear, and RK doesn't. Not in public anyway.

I would also want to see how he treated others, especially those without the ability to punch back. This I don't know about either of the men.

For the record, I'm not a Katrina stan. Or even a fan. But I do think she got the better man because of the above reasons.

But hey, you do you.

FYI. Looks are subjective. I do not find RK good-looking in the least. Vicky is ordinary. There will be people who disagree with me and you on both men.

With re: working. Most of Vicky's work actually involves acting, which Katrina cannot do. And he sees her at home. I could understand if he said that he wants to work with her before they got married because it would mean time together. After marriage? Nah. That's a purely professional decision at that point, which has nothing to do with their love for each other.

But whatever makes you happy.

You didn't give any examples of RK treating Alia with any respect whatsoever. In fact, he has disrespected her multiple times as a person in public. I don't need to cite you one or two examples because they're plenty. A simple YouTube search will show you.

Like I said, Katrina made her mistake. God/universe saved her perhaps from her own stupidity.

Vicky's dad is not Vicky. If we go down that path, there are stories aplenty about the entire Kapoor family, including Rishi and Neetu. But we won't, will we? Because it won't be cool to blame someone for his/her parents' actions.

Alia's acting was described as magic. That she's a mean little twit as a person (at least in public view) was made evident in the multiple interviews and shows she has done.

ETA. Alia's acting is average at best. She's been propped up by her surrogate father because the actual actors were in other Indian languages. KJo then proceeded to force everyone to sing her praises. KwK this year was cringe-fest. Wouldn't you know it? One Tripti was all it took to show up Alia.😆 Dharma's own talent. I'm waiting with popcorn for the negative stories to start.
