Better man only according to some social media stans of hers. In the real world, most ppl are stunned by how she ‘settled for such a chhapri’. I remember going to a wedding last yr Dec(just days after she got married) and everyone was saying EXACTLY this. And I’m pretty sure she knows more abt what sort of a man RK is THAN YOU. DP, Kat and Alia, 3 super successful women all of whom were(in Alia’s case ARE) crazy abt him AFTER knowing him personally for YEARS. If he was a di** in real life, they wouldn’t have been. Truth is, RK in private is a chill, non dominating, funny guy who’s well spoken, charming and someone who doesn’t lose his temper often. Add to that the fact that he’s good looking, rich af, a brilliant actor, and arguably the biggest star amongst his contemporaries, and it’s not really a mystery why he so many women were after him. Kat didn’t think of him as a mistake, which is why she desperately BEGGED him to take her back till months later(at Aarti Shettys party as late as April).

Sorry, but the question asked to Vicky wasn’t abt ‘acting skills’. He was asked which actress would he like to work with, and was given 3 options(Ananya, Rakul and Katrina). And anyways, it’s not like the other 2(Ananya and Rakul) are Meryl Streeps. If the interviewer had named a Tabu or a Vidya you cld still try to spin the argument. He STILL didn’t name his OWN WIFE. As far as RK is concerned, he has praised Alia MULTIPLE times, he was asked ‘What makes you happy?’ and he said ‘spending time with my wife’. He also made that ‘water tastes like Sherbet’ comment, which was cute, but Kat stans turned tried to make fun of even that. This reveals that the prob isn’t with him, but with stans who want to portray a certain image of him cuz they can’t tolerate the fact that even a nice guy can dump their favourite
Your judgment of a better man clearly differs from mine.
I don't care so much about someone's looks, chapri-looking or otherwise, or how rich they/their family happen to be, how brilliant their acting is.
Roman Polanski is a brilliant director. He's still a child sex assaulter. Epstein was rich. So was Bill Cosby. Kevin Costner is supposed to be good-looking. Clinton is supposed to be a good-looking charmer, in public and private. JFK was handsome, charming, brilliant, rich, and powerful. None of them were good men or good husbands.
What would matter to me is how the guy would treat me as a person, not as a coworker. I'd want to see not just love and attraction. I'd want to see respect.
This Vicky makes very clear, and RK doesn't. Not in public anyway.
I would also want to see how he treated others, especially those without the ability to punch back. This I don't know about either of the men.
For the record, I'm not a Katrina stan. Or even a fan. But I do think she got the better man because of the above reasons.
But hey, you do you.
FYI. Looks are subjective. I do not find RK good-looking in the least. Vicky is ordinary. There will be people who disagree with me and you on both men.
With re: working. Most of Vicky's work actually involves acting, which Katrina cannot do. And he sees her at home. I could understand if he said that he wants to work with her before they got married because it would mean time together. After marriage? Nah. That's a purely professional decision at that point, which has nothing to do with their love for each other.
But whatever makes you happy.
