I don't see the desperation in him to take care of her even out of guilt compare it to Sai...

Virat loves Sai but he is too weak to do something about it

I thought this accident will tilt him towards Sai but he is actually taking steps ahead with Pakhi

The cover for him is that he is lying but in this cover, the barrier has been broken by him, the barrier Virat had created for their relationship

I think this "He is lying" will be cover for his actions in upcoming episodes too

One thing, I know for sure is that they won't end Sairat and start VP's story
