I think Sumbul felt that Shalin actually loves Tina.She always considers Tina more in the wrong than Shalin if you have noticed. For her Shalin was a genuine friend and hence she felt bad for him. Baaki sab ko Shalin ki acting samajh aaya but usko real laga hoga. I am glad Sajid stopped her by indirectly saying stuff today. Especially the part where he said "Woh tere paas aaya kabhi jab tu upset thi"?"Tu Kaise selfish Ho gayi? "
