Absolutely right, this is why all are so disappointed. This wasn’t just an average show when it began. We could see so much potential and intensity in this show. I could never imagine this is what the story writer and the director had in mind. So much pain for one character- what is the takeaway from this?

We watch shows because they entertain us and help us escape reality. They make us feel good for a few minutes. When I watched parts of the episode yesterday, I was furious and in pain. I am inclined to say that at this point even Kaisi teri Khudgharzi is going better than this.

Yeahh....I remember we used to say that Habs episodes leave us feeling happy because it is not preachy, nonsensical or OTT. Now I can't even bring myself to watch this torture fest.

So, if that was the message the writer was aiming for, well done, I say. Mission accomplished.

So true. Its like a men vs women theme. All women r together no matter what level of crap they dish out..they r each other best buddies , always standing by each other , 7 khoon maaf...Ayesha and sohas friendship is so ridiculous. Normal wives hate the ex's😆

I think it is fair to assume that we all are extremely disappointed with the way the story has unfolded. We were promised a mature story based on individuals battling their inner demons together, especially Ayesha helping Basit come to terms with his trauma.

While Basit’s character has grown by leaps and bounds, Ayesha’s character on the other hand has regressed a great deal. Looking at the way she is reacting without thinking, being foolish not naive anymore to not doubt Soha’s intentions, refusing to communicate with her husband after she repeatedly preached about moving forward from the past and forgiving others and is taking everything to ego shows that is not an ideal life partner for anyone let alone a wonderful and internally sensitive man like Basit.

How do you guys envision Basit’s ideal life partner to be? What characteristics should she possess? I’m just curious.

I believe his ideal type would be someone who could make him realize his mistakes but without insulting him or being judgemental and encourage him to change not for her own benefit but to help the person she loves let go of his dark and painful past. Had been written properly, Ayesha's character could be exactly that person but our dear writers decided to make her the most idiotic female lead in the history of pakistani drama 🤦‍♀️😂

For all purposes, I think it would be better for our collective sanity to think the show ended the night Basit dragged Ayesha home.

I guess they're just prolonging our suffering 🤦‍♀️Thank God I started watching Ishqiya and found some solace from Habs bullshit 😂 4 episodes in and I can say that it's really good.. The characters seem pretty much consistent, there's just the right amount of angst but combined with some comedic relief too and the storyline is good... I just wished I could say the same things about Habs but at this point I'm really disappointed in this drama...

The frustration is perfectly understandable. What a ridiculous plot the makers have landed on our heads. There is nothing positive to take away from Habs. I will only beg to differ in one point which is that it is not only the wealth difference that is the problem. Marriage is pain and an endless cycle of ripping your spouse's heart out and making a bonfire out of it, as per Habs. Soha (the rich one) and Ayesha (the poor one) are equally vile and have only added to Basit's trauma.

It's just sad that what started with so much potential turned out to be one of the worst dramas I've watched recently 😒 I really miss the depth and excellent directing of the earlier episodes... The only thing that saves the show at that point is FK and his tremendous acting otherwise I would have already dropped it...
