So I’m watching Fardeen Khan’s KWK episode from 2004 because I rediscovered him today and also because I can? Karan Johar the letch immediately starts the interview by fawning all over him. Not even one minute in and the interview is already filled with a lot of sexual innuendos. But Fardeen calmly replies not falling into Johar’s trap. Even 18 years ago, this man had his head on his shoulders.

Nasty ass Karan also tried so hard, repeatedly at that, to get Fardeen to say crap about Shahid Kapoor but he refrained from saying anything negative. Karan was always so mean to outsiders. Its so obvious. He literally calls Shahid an insecure boyfriend and tries to get Fardeen to agree with him. Like what even?

Another thing I loved about Fardeen was his opinion on commitment, marriage and taking ownership for his failed long term relationship. No wonder there’s been no cheating rumors flying about at all throughout his marriage.

The fact that he waited tables in college is probably why he has remained humble. I worked part time as a waitress throughout high school so I totally resonate with his experience. It was probably harder for him though since he was completely new to the country. Now I get why he seems genuine even now. Dude emits good vibes all around.
