I don't know anything about Fardeen Khan so no comment.

Salman is not always a gentleman. But he has his moments -few as they are. I noticed that during the Character Dheela song from Ready where he has to slap the butts of white extras, he does not actually touch them. Down South in Tamil cinema, I've noticed Vikram doing the same in intimate song sequences. Not touching the heroine, I mean. Usually in the case of newcomers like Asin. He has done plenty of kissing scenes unlike Salman. So it seems a "gentlemanly" gesture.
