we found it one fine evenig ... Traveling back home.... We got soo engrossed in listening to it on loop that did not guide the person driving the car with direction... Solid bhadka woh... And we were silent giggling over the song and after a point, loud hysterical laughs!!!! Crazy simple days!!!

My personal opinion, I don't think it was pre-planned. He just answered to a question would he like to be friends with Abdu. Saare contestant soch kar jaate hai who they can click with. Maybe he thought he will click with Abdu. His friendship with Abdu does look genuine to me.

Aur Shiv ke pass itna dimaag hota he wouldn't have become Chamcha and Bodyguard of the most hated contestant by audience Sajid. He knows people don't like him. Ek friendship karni hoti hai like Ankit has with Sajid aur ek Chamchagiri karna hota hai what Shiv does. Shiv could have been like a friend but he choose to be Chamcha.
