People choose to react based on what they see on the show. If people feel annoyed/upset they cannot be asked to turn down their feelings or leave it unsaid.
Someone may choose to cope by reading what they think is "hopeful" whereas others are choosing to cope by what is considered "negative rants" and "venting".
The content of the show evokes different responses.
unanimously (sparing a few people who dont like Sai), no one wants to see P win or be hailed and V get away with everything he has done but in my personal view, thats exactly what is happening on the show thus far. The precedent set by makers also doesnt leave room for much more "hope" so to speak for anything better
I have an open question- What has objectively happened on the show thus far to make the audience look forward to V realizing his mistakes or doing anything to fix them ?
if he had a brief monologue about whether he erred by imprisoning Sai- he negated it by not doing anything to fix it. Sai came out because she ran and V couldnt throw her back in jail because he didnt wanna antagonize his image in front of Savi who was tormented on being separated from her mother for just 1 day and was a scared child having nightmares.
if him speaking up to BK about not questioning Savi paternity was seen as a step in the direction- it has been negated by him going to calm her down eventually and sweet talk to her instead of curtly tell her to stop behaving badly.
if him getting nostalgic about his old memories with Sai was a step in that direction- then it gets negated by a VP scene recreating the same Sairat moment with minor differences.
There are theories about the ramayan foreshadowing and about how Savi has some dialogues to the effect that she will not leave Sai but there are enough foreshadowing and promos/dialogues suggesting the reverse too. So if we look only at what is being shown- there has been nothing to actually show V take a step towards "redemption" as a husband or as a father
As a husband he has letdown Sai and now P too. So if P was not a criminal who deserves brutality but instead an innocent woman stuck with him , there would likely be an outpouring of support for how badly he is treating the woman.
And as a father he is too carried away with Savi and has slightly ignored Vinu by his own admission but he has also not shown much interest in what he has missed of Savi's childhood and her likes/dislikes by his own admission. He knew very little about what Savi likes and he has made no effort to ask Savi or Sai about the same. Instead of imprisoning Sai or trying to one-up her, why doesnt he ask to see the child's baby pics, ultrasound, ask Sai or Savi herself about her dietary and other preferences.
