In my language, people call aunt & step-mother by same word.

Pata nahi 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈

I have never heard it in real life...

Films/TV main it's Aai only... but the original mother is usually dead 🤪

I have a bunch of friends who call their grandma ‘badi mummy’😲 From what I’ve heard, It’s actually a bit common in the northern belt of Delhi-NCR-Haryana

I am taking another break from the show and hopefully when I am back things would have improved in the show or my expectations would have changed, or I would have moved onto some new show. I came back for Savi's reveal but overstayed with some hopes, but I don't see it happening.

I had fun interacting with folks here and reading different perspective. Do tag me guys if something nice happens in the show as I will be visiting IF if not the ghum forum. Tagging few folks I interacted with

🤗

I know easier said than done, if you are not enjoying the show its best to quit because it's just entertainment

We'll keep interacting, don't leave

We'll talk about something else

Butt of hypocrisy!!

Double entendre, symbolism, premonition and Karma all in one package.

Ashwini's monologue is missing today, but Sonali's super fast mind caught her thoughts. And fate ensures that the person who had to witness it turned up at the right time. She needs to know the roots she supposedly spread in this house are not that strong. The mud there is so loose that one pull will uproot her completely.

Ashwini wanted to go after her upset bahu, but the pendent seemed more important. Sai is slowing getting stronger than her.

Small mercies. P did not do the aarti. And Savi was holding onto both her parents. Her "Happy Family"! Two people who are now so distant and being linked that this chain that is much stronger than anything else.

Chavans didn’t witness Savi's birth. But today it was like how she would have been welcomed home after birth. In the arms of her parents with her grandmother doing her aarti.

P keeps a sullen face through out. I want to ask "Where is tumhari khushi mein meri jhushi?" It is not that V was holding Sai's hand or he was calling her his wife. The entire focus was on Savi. She couldn’t even have a smile on her face for a child, whose life turned upside down because of her.

Parents' rivalry continues as V doesn't like Ninad calling out Savi's similarity with Sai. He wants her to be just like him. And for everyone around to notice and call it out. Such kiddish level of complex and competition. 🤣

V as usual is clueless about things. He is a failure with strategies and jumps into things where has the least clue how to handle them. He is at first tongue tied when he has to introduce P to Savi. Then he takes the smart turn. "Badi Aai". Now I see what he did. If the marriage is really invalid, or he intends to get back his family, P as Sam's wife becomes "Badi Aai" to Savi. He could not have called her out as "Maami" or "Kaki". So he chose "Badi Aai". But I was still disappointed.. why not "Badi Mumma" for Vinu calls P.

Anyways Savi saves the day. For her Sai is her Aai. No one can replace her. And no one can take her place. Not even in addressing or with any such prefixes. There is only one "Aai". Smart girl.

P feels the pinch when Savi refuses. What was she thinking? Just like she wanted OG Vinu to consider her as mother, Savi too should do that. To become the part of V's family? High hopes.

She recalls Vinu's words. And this is a parallel to show the difference. Sai is irreplaceable for Savi as her Aai. But for Vinu, P is replaceable. That shows the difference in the love and bond each of these kids share. And for Vinu Sai can easily become his Aai. It is not just P being replaceable but Sai easily fitting into mother figure.

This again will have a role to play in future. P's biggest card, will become the reason for her biggest loss. She gave birth to him, used him for her selfish motives, but he will leave her when she will pin all her hope son him. The irony, the ticket to win will become the ticket to loss.

Savi leaves Sai's hand to enter CN. The focus on this made me think, that at some point when Savi will choose to stay in CN and leave Sai momentarily, but she will be the one who will make her Aai back CN.

Savi trips and a concerned Sai walks in. Symbolic that the Lakshmi of the house returned (I hope this is not again one of the usual games of misleading audience). See how twisted the ways of the universe are. Nothing is as simple and direct as it seems. P entered with the wrong foot, and Samrat left the next day. Sai entered as the good fortune. She brought back so much in the lives of Chavans. Sam, Pulkit, Harini.... Yet no one really saw her worth. Because they were so busy criticising her, and proving her wrong that they refused to acknowledge that.

With Sai's exit and P taking over, there were no fights. But was there happiness? Not in the true sense. Just because there are no fights or arguments in the house , does not mean that the house is prospering. It is a myth and the Chavans are living in that myth world. P actually ate away all their happiness.

Sai entered as Lakshmi, and like earlier, she will bring back all that was lost. From the projects like, Mohit-Karishma, Harini, Omi to bringing back the lost son of the family.

V seemed to have liked how fate intervened. He was nowhere uncomfortable with the whole thing, until P started her blabbering, which got him irritated.

Everyone else is shocked as they all understand what that implies. As usual no one wants to address it. P, the way she stresses that Sai is not lakshmi, the function is not for her, had me laughing that feeling any sympathy. She has done enough to deserve this. Every one notices her plight, but none make an attempt to help her. The selfish Chavans. P is sitting at the door, trying to remove marks of Sai's feet. What she had been doing all along and what she will continue to do. And as stubborn those marks are and as inevitable destiny is, so is her downfall.

Again the scene has undercurrents to what is in store for future. No one comes for P. They all walk in, while P breaking down, trying to remove the foot marks of Sai. Alone.

The marks were like destiny, and P is trying to fight against what is destined. To prove to her, what she wanted was never meant to be. And she wanted to destroy was always meant to survive.

Sai gives that look to V, to convey that this is what she meant about complicating things with Savi's entry. But V doesn’t care. He has made up his mind.

Another one. V too leaves P to go inside with Sai. P left with nothing.

The glaring hypocrisy, shallowness and biases of Chavans makes me feel, why should someone even want a family like this.

Vinu gave a life to V. He brought happiness. But today it is so clear. He was always an outsider. Never their own. Even for V. The biases, so clear.

Savi is welcomed with such grandeur, only because she is their own blood. But they never considered these rituals for Vinu, because he was adopted. BK and gang were still clear that they wanted an heir through P. But the rest. No words. They have got to pay their prices...heavily.

V signals P to answer Vinu's question. V's hypocrisy as he himself is unable to find an appropriate answer.

P on the other hand uses it in her favour to taunt V and others. That they did no such thing for Vinu. It would have been genuine if she really felt that for Vinu's sake. But she played that card only for herself. Because she didn’t like the importance Savi was getting. P diverts the question to V. Vinu is not convinced.

In a similar situation Sai would have ensured that the child is relieved of any doubts or insecurities, unlike P who increased it and used it to show her own disapproval.

Sai is observing all this. She knows their fetish for heir and blood. And she definitely can see the treatment of Vinu. Something she dreaded before Savi's revelation. But Sai is also very clear on the status quo. She has accepted V-P marriage and the fact that she has no relation with Chavans or V. She is now least affected by anything. They can all play happy family for all she cares. Her only concern is Savi.

Vinu will become insecure. This is just the beginning. And P will fuel it. But Sai is noticing it and will intervene at some point. For that orphan connect between the mother-son. And this will be instrumental when his truth is out. He will see the shallowness of this family. How they treated him when he was an orphan. And how Sai, was genuine in her love for him despite being no one to him. Vinu has to see all this before his truth is revealed. For him to make those right choices.

V says "Savi ka palda bhaari hai". Another one here. Yes. because she is your blood. And she will be preferred till Vinu truly comes home. And P is just absorbing all of it. Her insecurities rising every minute.

Precap - Yahaan I was thinking that Sai will take up some job as doctor or return to orphanage. It looks like V is going to give her a job as a tutor. Why did they even have to make her do MBBS? Just for an excuse to make her stay in CN for that many years?

But Ghum makes this so that it aligns with Hindi speaking audience.

Isiliye Mansi and Shivani are Bua and not Atya. And so Rajeev becomes Fufa.. today Pullu was made Fufa too.

Step mother ke liye Savatra Aai 🤣

Step Bro Sis are Savatra Bahin Bhau...

Savatra Vadil is if the mother has remarried

Savatra = Sautela

But those are relationship definitions ... nobody calls them Savatra 🤪 just like nobody calls each other Sautela
