Good episode obviously but the entire episode was heavily laced with symbolism and therefore all the triggering dialogues have a undercurrent and literal and metaphorical meanings.
There were too many things which are inconsistent with Marathi culture and therefore my only guess is that they are to serve plot points. So take them not on the face value but with a hidden meaning.
And the overwhelming reason is to trigger P and make her insecure.
Sonali makes a wild guess that the pendant is for Sai, which turns out true and which is heard by P, her anxiety rises.
Ash points out that the kheer made by P is not sweet to which Sonali taunts again. P remarks to herself that her life has become feeka.
Sonali K convo about what's happening in her and Mohits life seems out of place but is relevant later. Just as the real reason is about to come out, Sai Saavi arrive with V.
Symbolism is beautiful... Ash does Aarti for Saavi primarily but her biological parents are holding her hands. So its actually their welcome as family. This is a ritual that is done when a new born arrives at home for the first time. And its the Dadi who does this ❤️
Sai has given a good upbringing to Saavi. She bows down for Aashirwad. Ash corrects her previous mistake and tells Saavi to call her Aaji.
Saavi does the same for Ninad and he remarks betiyan pair nahi chuti. Thats not a case in Marathi culture. We touch feet of any elder. This beti/bahu bias is not there.
In the previous episode too, V calls his home Saavi ka dadihal. Grandparents on both sides are Aaji-Ajoba. So V addressing CN as dadihal is odd. And technically Saavi doesn't have a nanihal. 💔
Saavi smartly replies that I am your poti and Ninad makes an observation that noone could win with Sai, neither with you. V who wants Saavi to be like him begrudgeingly accepts this observation 🤪.
Loved Ninad. He has accepted Sai wholeheartedly and going by Chavan nature, this dialogue can be a taunt. But Ninad says it as a compliment, not a taunt. ❤️
V the stupid man, introduces Saavi to everyone. Clearly since he never has a plan, he has not thought about what he would introduce P as ...
Is stumped how to address her.
Makes another mistake... calls her Badi Aai. 😛
Sai is clearly irritated.
As I mentioned in another comment, it's very sly writing.
Marathi culture doesn't have these names... Badi Aai is clearly a non Marathi reference. Which means it's inserted here with a greater purpose.
And what is that? To trigger P.
P is hoping V will address her as wife. He doesn't. In a way, she is only a mother to Vinu and older than Sai so 'badi'.
She would have been 'badi aai' as Sams wife even without marrying V...
So this dialogue should not be viewed in isolation.
There can be 2 meanings... one is V wanting to include P in Saavis family but as Sais elder one, not replacing Sai.
Or it is his pure stupidity. (I personally believe this 🤣)
In both the cases, Saavi doesn't accept P. She is logical enough to understand that there can be only one Aai. She already has that. So why is P insecure? Because she remembers what Vinu said... he is okay with 2 mothers concept. For him Sai is equally important.
So in a matter of seconds, P has been denied the exclusive status she wanted by both the men in her life.
And then Sai makes a Ghar ki Laxmi Wali entry.
Sonali is the first to notice and point it out. Her convo with K is relevant here. Sonali is worried about her family's status now that V has next generation ready. Omi is already out of job. I won't be surprised if they play out a Ghar ka batwara track in near future with Sonali demanding her hissa.

Anyway, I digress.
Sai ki footprint entry pe V looks mildly happy then angry at Sai then confused after P's spiel. We blame NB for giving soft looks to PL unnecessarily... iss part main aisa hi kuch laga mujhe.
P is triggered. All that has happened in the past few minutes affects her tremendously.
Though the positive P is still present somewhere. Pre leap P would have blamed Sai for doing it deliberately
She runs across to wipe Sais footprints. And breaks down while doing so. Sai is empathetic enough to notice. Seems to tell V that see how this is hurting her. V is least bothered though worried. They cut his call to her (as per precap)... it really makes him seem selfish and heartless. He is only focused on his happiness.
Sadly everyone ditches P and goes inside happily. Even Ash teen ka saanp has no remorse.
Symbolism is too good... The malkin is wiping the floor and everyone has left her at the doorstep.
The shot's visual composition is too good.

Ash explains tula bhaar to Saavi and explains that it will be sent to Anaath Ashram. How heartless... have they forgotten so soon that Vinu now knows he is adopted!!!!
Vinu asks if this was done for him and I am glad P diverts the question to V... this... this is his punishment. He doesn't have answers to any such questions and thinks about only one thing at a time. Right now it's Saavi. He who had signaled P to give a white lie, has to speak truth now. Ash tries to add another lie but then V hints her to keep quiet when Vinu asks the same thing to her. 🥺
I am so happy this happened. For P to throw V under the bus and for V faltering. Dumbass needs these lessons. 🤪
These kids are going to make him realise his mistakes.
Anyway, Vinu is not convinced much but meekly accepts.
V commits another stupidity and remarks Saavi ka palda upar aa gaya Hai. How insensitive
What's also important is P has once again made Vinu anxious instead of calming him. 😕
Anyway, BK adds another layer of drama.
Javal kadhne is yet another custom different from Marathi culture. This ritual is exclusive to a male child. It's not performed for girls as it's assumed to change the hair texture.
So once again, this non Marathi significance is a plot point.
Saavi doesn't want to but agrees because Sai okays it.
Harini the Rockstar and Team Sai member, makes the observation that changes the dynamics. We know what happens from BTS. There might be something more in episode.
Overall a good episode...
The thing that triggered most... Badi Aai should be taken as plot point for triggering P and for that V is once again on butcher block. Though I don't mind this time...
There's a very superficial Marathi culture in Ghum and it's mostly focused on the Hindi speaking target audience. For them Badi Aai is okay since she was already that as Sam's wife. Neither V could have given any sensible answer as there was none.
More importantly... don't view it in isolation. The single line relates to all 5... and clarified who stands where.
Saavi can be temporarily influenced by the bada Ghar and paisa... but when time comes, Saavi will choose her Aai. And overtime Vinu will side with Sai too. He already is comfortable sharing his mother's space with Sai.
Two orphans will become each other's support system....
V may or may not want to include P hence forth... but Saavi is not going to accept P. 👎🏼
Sai/Ayesha had very few dialogues today. This time Sai can be the leader of popcorn team. She is calm, composed and mature. She has accepted the reality and has changed. Others haven't.
Sai can just sit on the sides and watch the drama unfold... maja aayega 🤣
